nVidia ION on Acer Revo out of signal after boot.
Hi, I am changing from proprietary nvidia drivers to Nouveau drivers in my
mediacenter.
I run a Gentoo linux in this hardware and I am facing an out of signal
screen just after the boot (when the nouveau module is loaded). If I
blacklist this module and modprobe it in the prompt, the screen gets out of
signal in my 1080p TV in this moment.
I tried recompile the kernel enabling and disabling a

Audio weirdness on CentOS 6.2 with flash?
Hi List,
I have an ASUS G73S laptop with our favorite OS installed and all
up-to-date.
Sound has always "just worked"
When I use the Preferences>Sound app I can setup the hardware, input,
output and was overall very impressed.
One can check each speaker and the laptop has a front left and right and
also has a bass speaker which seems to be connected to the left rear.

I doubt this is it, but it is easy to test. For some reason I thought that anything in modprobe.d had to end in .conf to be processed. I could be wrong about that.

I think you want kernel 4.10, or cherry-pick upstream commit

Lockup/panic caused by nouveau_fantog_update recursion
Hi,
I used to experience kernel panics caused by CPUx hard lockup once almost everyday.
I'm running Ubuntu 14.10 on vanilla linux kernel 3.19.2 on Core i7-3770 with Gallium 0.4 on NV108.
The panic log looked like:

Board has no audio itself.
I have USB headphones I sometimes plug in.
Unfortunately every time I plug them in I have use to use audio control

[PATCH] drm: disable vblank only if it got previously enabled
I believe the solution is to not call drm_crtc_vblank_off for atomic
modesetting in nouveau_display_fini. I think Ben's working on it.
