Strange connectivity issues with bridged networking and masquerade
Hi all, I'm currently in the process of building a 2-Node libvirt/KVM Cluster and ran into some issues regarding the network connectivity of our virtual machines. Our setup seemed to work fine, we were able to browse to Google and our own company website and some others from within the VM. Then we tried microsoft.com to download some Windows iso images from MS Partner Network. The page

KVM guest fails to boot cleanly
I have a KVM vm running CentOS-6.8 on a host also running CentOS-6.8. This instance is used for occasional development projects which require segregation. Thus it is seldom accessed. At some point in the recent past this guest developed an issue with starting. Specifically these messages were found in the system log files: /var/log/messages-20170312:Mar 10 16:31:06 vhost04 kernel: dracut:

HTB problem
Hello, I''m having some problems using HTB to prioritize traffic on my linux router. The main problem is as follows: I have a 6Mbits channel on the metropolitan network and a 64kbps link for the sites outside my country. These 64kbps are dynamically allocated by my ISP so I usually get something like 128kbps , sometimes 512kbps and even 1 Mbit; it varies all the time. Because of this

Samba 4 and Windows Rights Management
Hi List, Please I need to answer this question... I have a friendly organization profiling Linux software solutions as an alternative to a Windows-based back end. I've been asked to find out if there's an alternative to the Windows Rights Management service. Im curious though, if Samba 4 could integrate with it? Thanks!

Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines
Hi, I installed Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines under Wine on Ubuntu Gutsy and so far it was working fine. But now I ran across a problem which I then also found in the AppDB: Surveillance-room in bloodbank calls forth major performance-issues due to blitting surface. WINS & IP-Masquerade
I am having a problem with the current release of Samba in RedHat 4.2, I believe it is 1.9.16p11. Anyway when logging into my ISP with IP Masquerade turned on I lose the ability to get netbios-ns from the Samba server. I was wondering if anyone has seen this or a workaround for the problem. The tcpdump program reports that the netbios-ns udp port is unreachable or unavailible. As soon as I

I've now added a new node, but I want this node to route all its traffic through tinc and use one of the tinc nodes as its gateway to the rest of the internet. I've got the device on the VPN and it participates nicely, but I can't talk to the internet at large. When I tcpdump the external interface on the
