Wifi Driver Broadcom BCM4322 not working with Centos 7.2
Hi,
I've been using in the past the broadcom wifi card BCM4322 with Centos 7.1
one in the past, with kernel 3.10.0-229.7.2.el7 and driver 6_30_223_248 and
it worked well.
Now I updated Centos to 7.2 and the driver is not compiling any more under
kernel 3.10.0-327.3.1.el7. Neither driver 6_30_223_238 nor 6_30_223_271.
Does any body experienced the same issues?
Cheers,
Roberto Nebot

available from the nux-dextop repo. If you'd rather build it yourself,
please see http://elrepo.org/tiki/wl-kmod for details.

Rsync and differential Backups
Hi list,
how to perform a differential backup using rsync?
On web there is a great confusion about diff backup concept when
searched with rsync.
Users says diff because it copy only differences. For me differential is
backup from last full backup.
Other users says that to perform a differential backup I must include in
rsync command: --backup --backup-dir=/some/path but from manual page of

Incorrect Example in Samba User Management Documentation
Hi Samba documentation admins, one of the the examples given on this
page https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/User_and_Group_management is
incorrect and probably should be updated.
The snippet of code in question:

dovecot-auth failed: Not enough space
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Dear all,
I've been trying to get a Dovecot IMAP service running under HP-UX
11.23, IA64. The system has 6GB of spare space under /var and at least
the same amount of RAM free at the current time.
I've compiled from the latest source (1.2.4), using the following options:

Transfer FSMO roles [SEC=UNOFFICIAL]
UNOFFICIAL
Hi,
I am running an old SAMBA DC (Bilbo) that I want to upgrade. I installed the latest version of SAMBA 4 on an old PC (jimbo) and joined the domain. I intend to transfer the FSMO roles, upgrade Bilbo and transfer the roles back.
I have transferred all roles except domaindns and forestdns. Jimbo says that these roles have no owner but Bilbo thinks it is the owner.
Is there some way

gdmgreeter and powersave
I have a bunch of workstations running CentOS 5.2. When the gdmgreeter is displayed, the monitor never blanks or powers off even though I have DPMS enabled in xorg.conf. When a user is logged in it works as expected. I Googled around and saw some references to this happening, but have not found a solution. Am I missing something obvious? The display adapters are Radeon 2400X's and use

[PATCH] permits multiple tags on a configuration block.
Hello all.
I wrote this small patch that allows having multiple tags on a
configuration block in the openssh client configuration.
For instance, with this configuration:

> Tag jump-to-mybox
>
> Match tagged change-hostname
> Hostname new-hostname

SSL only working in DEBUG mode
Hi,
I spent quite some time pulling my hair out and trying to figure out why
NUT wasn't working properly with SSL enabled. I tried several approaches
until I found something interesting.
I'm using NUT 2.7.1 in Ubuntu Server 14.04 Trusty Tahr
After properly configuring a self signed certificate with "certutil" from
libnss3-tools, there was no way to get proper SSL connection

Creating samba4/AD users from ADUC
We have a couple Samba4 AD domains we've implemented and I've noticed a
difference between how users look when created via ADUC versus samba-tool.
Created via ADUC, the following extra attributes are added:
msSFU30Name: bilbo
msSFU30NisDomain: netdirect
unixHomeDirectory: /home/bilbo
unixUserPassword: ABCD!efgh12345$67890
Created via samba-tool, the following extra attributes are added:
