OT: LSI SAS1068e / Perc6/iR RAID Health
Is anybody here monitoring Dell SAS6/iR RAID health? I have a mix of CentOS 5.9 and 6.3 installs on the PE1950s. I'm finding drivers and Megaraid Storage Manager downloads via LSI's site, but I'd prefer not to install a bunch of crapware. All I need is the proper LSI daemon which exports info via SNMP. I've used check_sasraid_megaraid Nagios script [0] in the past for PERC5i and

Instead of converting the sysv script, you could trivially write your own, the following was tested against about 6 SNMP queries, the service stops and starts as expected. You may want to purge the sysv remnants. # cat /etc/systemd/system/lsi_mrdsnmpd.service [Unit] Description=LSI SNMP Agent startup/shutdown script Requires=network.target Requires=snmpd.service After=network.target

While I don't have the answer to your specific question, LSI does does not advertise support for the latest point release and using their current version faults for me after upgrading a host. You say "not functioning properly" but

XCP vs Xen on CentOS and Dell OpenManage
Hello, I just tried out XCP and I was surprised to see it looks pretty much like Xen from Citrix. Based on the RPM packages installed, I assume XCP is based on RHEL5. With that in mind, I have a few questions that I did not find an answer on the web... Perhaps I didn''t look in the right places, so if you know about any good documentations that I should read please share it :)

[PATCH v2 2/2] firstboot: make SysV symlinks as relative on Debian
Turn the rc.d symlinks for the guestfs-firstboot service as relative, instead of absolute paths: the result is the same (the service works the same), and this way is more coherent with symlinks created by update-rc.d. --- customize/firstboot.ml | 6 +++--- 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) diff --git a/customize/firstboot.ml b/customize/firstboot.ml index 52dfbbe..706d63c 100644
