I have some CentOS 7 VMs running on the system for which I just made the inquiry about the kworker problem, and I was able to institute immediate change of hostname by updating the /etc/hostname file. We can permanently set hostname using hostnamectl set-hostname. How can we permanently set *domain name* in CentOS 7? I've recently documented simple use of a VServer with CentOS host and guest. toracat@ said that it might be worthwhile putting on the wiki.
