Introduction to R. Any such documentation in Vietnamese?
Dear fellow users
Are there any Vietnamese language resources for beginners of R? If so, I would be interested in hearing from people who have had experience with them and which are better (if there is more than one). I am involved with an aid project in Vietnam, and would like to move the scientists involved from using Excel for 'analysis' to R.
Thanks ....

R binaries
Dear Rexperts,
I intend to burn some R CDs to colleagues in Vietnam. I want to put all
binary files for base as well as contributed packages (for both Windows
and Linux). It is very time consuming if I download files by files. Is
there a place a can buy a CD with all the mentioned files?

Hide the files that doesn't have permission to access
Hi,
Try these params to hide files when users doesn't have read/write access to
them.
hide unreadable (S)
This parameter prevents clients from seeing the existance of files that
cannot be read. Defaults to off.
Default: *hide unreadable = no*
hide unwriteable files (S)
This parameter prevents clients from seeing the existance of files that
cannot be written to. Defaults to off. Note that

Beginning R help?
Hi all,
I'm currently working through the "Beginner's Guide to R" (Zurr et al.) and
I'm wondering about the first exercise in chapter 3:
I imported the data from BirdFluCases.txt and executed the 'names' and 'str'
functions as follows:
Bird = read.table(file='C:\\rbook\\BirdFluCases2.txt', header=TRUE)
