Tinc on NixOS
Hi, Does anyone here have experience running Tinc on NixOS? I'm trying to run Tinc on a NixOS machine, using the similar configuration i had for Ubuntu. My home subnet is 192.168.1.0/24 and my work is 10.16.0.0/24. However, unlike ubuntu, when I start tincd on nixos, and try to 'ifconfig $INTERFACE 192.168.1.10 netmask 255.255.255.0' in my tinc-up, I loose network access on the box

memdisk hdimage
Sorry to bother you, but i want to use your genious memdisk feture, but i am not able to create a hdimage that is compatible with memdisk (see ML postings). It would be nice if you can send me a step

Wiki EditGroup request.
Hi all, I'd like to get added to the EditGroup for wiki.centos.org and perhaps projects.centos.org. I'm interested in adding content periodically throughout wiki.centos; most likely in the HOWTO areas, but am happy to do reorganization and cleanup as-needed. On the projects side I'd like to create a project for the i586 on CentOS 5 section. Thanks, Ray -- Ray Van Dolson <rayvd

If i then press F1 again i do not get as expected the about.txt file, i just get another boot:

how to enable VT
Hi, I have a Dell opt 755 machine and installed Xen 3.3.1. The CPU is core 2 due E6550, which as the vmx flag. However, when I reboot the machine to xen 3.3.1. I can not find vmx in the /proc/cpuinfo. But vms appears in the kernel 2.6.29 (not xen kernel). Can anyone help on how to enable vt in this machine? Thanks. [Bug 841] sftp-server receives SIGCHLD.
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=841 ------- Additional Comments From dtucker at zip.com.au 2004-04-14 12:00 ------- It's likely that libcrypto.so isn't in LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Try running this and see if you get an error: $ ssh yourserver /usr/local/openssh/libexec/sftp-server or add something like: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib:/path/to/ssl/lib export LD_LIBRARY_PATH to your

Glitches in sound every time that Asterisk receives reINVITEs
Hi all, My Asterisk server is working fine, although every time that in the middle of any call there is a reinvite, the user hears a glitch. Why is this happening? How can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance, Ricardo Carvalho.

Why asterisk changes RTP destination port when it receives first RTP packet in opposite direction despite canreinvite=no
Hi, I'm connecting Asterisk v. 1.4.10 to Zanzibar Open IVR that acts as a SIP trunk. Since recognition didn't work correctly, I've troubleshot with Wireshark and saw that RTP stream is first send to one port on SIP trunk and then when first RTP packet arrives in opposite direction (from TTS part of Zanzibar - it's a prompt) Asterisk starts sending to the same RTP port -

sidekiq receives SIGHUP when started via ssh -t
Hi, I have a couple of ideas how to fix it, but I'm trying to figure out what's going on first. I mainly start this program (sidekiq) on Debian systems, and it might be my first time running it under CentOS, so my conjecture is that it has to do with differences between distributions... Now then, when I run it this way: ssh user at example.com '. ~/.bash_profile && rvm 2.3.1

sidekiq receives SIGHUP when started via ssh -t
Hi, I was able to narrow it down to this ruby script: #!/usr/bin/env ruby Process.daemon while true sleep 1 end And I can reproduce it on one particular CentOS server, on the other CentOS server it works as on Ubuntu. The CentOS server where I can reproduce the issue is supposed to have vanilla CentOS, but probably not exactly. So, when I run it this way on CentOS 7: ssh user at

Samba 3.6.x: smbd receives sigpipe and crashes
Hello, I've got problems with Samba 3.6.0 up to 3.6.6. Forked smbd processes are closing unexpectedly and sometimes smbd server exits. (In Samba 3.5.16 everything works). When invoke smbd from gdb and turn off SIGPIPE passing (by command "handle SIGPIPE nostop nopass") everything works fine. I found out that SigBlk flag of forked smbd processes in /proc/*/status is:

nmblookup receives response, but doesn't show it
Hi folks, I find that nmblookup seems to be receiving responses to name queries, but ignoring them. Here's what's happening: # nmblookup somehost querying somehost on x.y.255.255 name_query failed to find name somehost But watching the transaction with ethereal on the local host, I see that: 1. nmblookup on local udp port nnnn (some random number above 1024) sends an nbns
