I?d like to see Dovecot distributed in the Docker Store (coming soon) or the Docker Hub. Most enterprises are moving to deploying their apps in containers and these

IRC Meeting Changes
For the past few years the CentOS Project has been holding IRC meetings for our various Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and other projects in the #centos-devel channel on the freenode IRC network. This has, for the most part, worked out fairly well. However, as this is a shared channel, at times things can become a bit hectic and confusing as people occasionally interrupt a meeting in progress.

troll or truth ?
Hello, I was discussing on the mplayer/mencoder ML about transcodingfrom Divx to Theora. I got these kind of answers: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.video.mencoder.user/280 Of course I understoud only 50% of what he said, as well as I am not really used with codec and video glossary... But I generally understoud his opinion. What to think? I would like not to believe him, espacially when

PATCH: Samba/Win2K renaming bug
Hi there. I'm running Samba 2.2.3a on RedHat 7.1 + kernel 2.4.17. My girlfriend's laptop is running Windows 2000 + service pack 2. She has about a thousand MP3s stored on a Samba share on my RedHat machine. We were finding that she couldn't rename any MP3s on the Samba share: she would always get a sharing violation. After a day of reading Samba logs at debug 10 (_such_ fun [ ;)

16 bits, cast on idct function
Hi all, Just a stupid question The IDctSlow function on file idct.c has this line : ip[0] = (ogg_int16_t)((_Gd + _Cd ) >> 0); The ip[0] , _Gd and _Cd are of type ogg_int32_t My question is: The result of (_Gd + _Cd) can be a number with more than 16 bits ? (yes, it can be because they are int32, but the algorithm could guarantee something about that... I dont know...) If

PostgreSQL ActiveRecord default localized date assigned in test env
Hi, today I''ve configured an XUbuntu as workstation (ok I know...). Using the following packages to make Rails interact with Postgres: ii libpgsql-ruby1.8 0.7.1-7 ii postgresql-8.1 8.1.4-0ubuntu1 using rails 1.1.6 from gems. The problem came up just on the testing environment, when I save a model I get a: ActiveRecord::StatementInvalid:
