Surely this is a mistake - we used to need real people's real names for
the wiki ?

CentOS 7 AMI Building
Yes... we currently use Packer to achieve a repeatable build process, from
scratch. We'd like to replicate that and be able to build from scratch
without spinning up an EC2 instance, in an automated way.
I don't know how to phrase this, so apologies if it comes across wrong, I
have immense respect for you personally and for CentOS... but, is it really
that difficult to post the kickstarts

wiki content management via automation
Hi
the CentOS Cloud images and other things are now built from end to end
automated pipelines, but the wiki content corresponding to them isnt. Is
there something that can be used to do this automation ?
I have done some stuff many many years ago, via directly mangling
content on the wiki objects, but that might not be the best way forward.
thoughts ?

http://www.centos.org/docs
Hi,
Why does http://www.centos.org/docs not point to say this for example:
http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/index.html
The latter is more comprehensive. The links that
http://www.centos.org/docs contains all have "upstream" labels on the
reading material, so I'm guessing the trademark boundries are not being
crossed.

docs update suggestions for docker and related packages
What's the best place to update the docs/howto for docker and related
packages on centos?
Could I add to http://wiki.centos.org/Cloud/Docker?highlight=(docker) or
is this for the rhel-recompiled docker? Also, what about docker-registry?
Does that need a new page?

Hi,
The second CentOS user interaction Dojo is taking place at Phoenix, AZ,

CentOS usualy care about most. For details on the speakers, the topics

Wiki navibar Newsletter reference
Every wiki page contains a link to
http://wiki.centos.org/Newsletter/Latest in the navibar at the top and
bottom of the page. Currently that redirects to
http://wiki.centos.org/Newsletter/1005 which is the Newsletter dated
10 July 2010, hardly current news.
Perhaps someone can suggest a better communication vehicle to display

Enterprise Linux Slack
To be honest Freenode is nice and I'd be sad to see it replaced with anything.
So cool to be a "/join #project" away from getting help.
If we go Mattermost, can we have a searchable public archive of the chats? Something search engines can index and we can point people to?

status of https://wiki.centos.org/Documentation
Hi,
I was having a look at that page, and was wondering what we can do for
point #3 (Manuals and other documentation)
As we have no real content for CentOS 6 and 7 , my idea was just to
explain in one line that (while technically not the CentOS
documentation) , almost all the points coming from uptream documentation
( - except for subscription manager - ) can be applied to CentOS and so

This is the thing that bothers me most - that folks dont have a good
grasp on what / why the numbering is working like this.
We are still a small team, and all efforts are flat out on getting the
iso media and images done,

RasPi 3.x and RH-based Distro (Slightly OT)
With the release of the Rasberry Pi 3.x, I think we have a platform I could
jump on board with. Performance has just been lacking until now!
But I really don't want to jump the "RH ship" - I'd rather stick with an
environment I am comfortable in.
Can anybody comment here on the best way to run RHEL/Fedora/CentOS on a RasPi,
or if there's even a useful port?
Thanks

Pull Request wiki.c.o/AdditionalResources/Repositories
KB -- I made those changes several months ago (Sep/Oct I believe), with
discussion in IRC. This was after a spate of people in the main channel
having issues with Atomic (there's a name that's going to end up causing
problems...) and the continued use of RPMForge/RepoForge, with no
indication that they're really really bad. As well as the recognition of
the reality that there are a
