Mitel only supported VMware virtualization platform for some CentOS servers based products
Hi, I finaly find enough legal stuff, from the French government recommandations, to qualify our CentOS KVM/libvirt as a platform we can use. By the way the legal advisory of KVM is not as the save level as its technical quality : Le 11/07/2018 ? 18:07, Jean-Marc Liger a ?crit?: > > Hi, > > Some Mitel products, which are CentOS 6.x or 7.x servers based with > some telephony

noVNC with qemu over ssh
Hi all, I have a little webserver interface for managing VMs running on a RHEL 6 based HA cluster hosting KVM/qemu VMs. I'd like to use noVNC to provide access to the hosted VMs, but I am not finding much information on how to do this (or rather, I can't find it in the large number of ovirt related posts). Has anyone done this or could someone point me in the right direction to docs

Mitel only supported VMware virtualization platform for some CentOS servers based products
Hi, Some Mitel products, which are CentOS 6.x or 7.x servers based with some telephony services added, are only supported on VMware virtualisation platform, even all if theses CentOS guests are certified on last CentOS/Redhat Virtualization or Microsoft Hyper V platforms. So, at he moment we have three bad choises : - Migrate part of our virtualization services from KVM/libvirt to VMware ; -

PROBLEM: Filesystem became readonly, then kernel crashes on shutdown
Hi All, I just had "an issue" with my Linux 2.6.1 kernel. While working, I tried to rf -rf a directory, and was told my filesystem was mounted readonly (which it wasn't). I then shut the machine down, and on shutdown, I got a "kernel BUG at fs/ext3/super.c: 411". Full report below: Mike [1.] One line summary of the problem: Filesystem became readonly, then

More recent libvirt builds for CentOS 7
Hello list, is there a way to get more recent libvirt builds for CentOS 7 that include support for the xl (modern Xen) toolstack? I tried to build libvirt from the SRPM, which succeeded, however, without the mentioned Xen parts. I have also found two repos from people who provide upstream libvirt builds for CentOS 7, again, without the Xen parts. -

daemon in /etc/init.d/functions creates no pifile?
Hi, we started using centos7 to run kvm+libvirt. For novnc to virtual machines I like to start websockify as a daemon by libvirt (as a hook) Under Debian I used the line: # start-stop-daemon --start --chuid $RUNUSER --make-pidfile --pidfile $PIDFILE --startas $PROGRAM -- $OPTIONS which creates a nice pidfile. In Centos I figured out, to include /etc/init.d/functions and I tried: # daemon
