Hi Sandro,
Thanks. That looks like a typo in the package release field? Should be 28.el7_3.10.1, rather than 28.el7.10.1.

updating qemu-img-ev 2.6
Hello!
http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/virt/x86_64/kvm-common
Latest is now qemu-kvm-ev-2.6.0-28.el7.10.1.x86_64.rpm
while http://ftp.redhat.com/redhat/linux/enterprise/7Server/en/RHEV/SRPMS/
has qemu-kvm-rhev-2.6.0-28.el7_3.12.src.rpm
A few questions:
A) Does kvm-common have RPM builds from RHEV's SRPMS?
B) Is the plan to keep kvm-common up to date with RHEV?

qemu-system-x86_64 does not support fw_cfg option
Hi
I am trying to run CoreOS (Container Linux) as a guest OS using
KVM/QEMU. One of their suggestions is to pass config info into the VM
using the "fw_cfg" option . When I try this I get the error "-fw_cfg
invalid option". If I run the vm with the help option it does not list
the fw_cfg option. However, according to the qemu documentation, see
here

VM freezes while insmod virtio_net.ko
Hi all,
I encountered a tricky problem. I am using ovs+DPDK on the host side
to build the virtual network, so on the VM side , the virtio_net.ko
module is used to drive the nic. But VM always freezes while insmod
virtio_net.ko (I found virtio_net.ko is located in initrams.img by
defualt, so I had to delete all virtio modules from initramfs.img and
insmod then one by one after system is loaded to

Is it considered normal for the test RPMs to not be signed?

hi guys,
I updated to qemu-kvm-common-ev-2.12.0-18.el7_6.1.1.x86_64 (also
libvirt) and my Centos 6.10 kvm guests now do not start.
Funnily enough Win10 guest are fine, only Centoses cannot start,
silently & without any errors.
Any care to comment?
many thanks, L.
