CentOS 7.5 Nautilus 100% reproducible crash.
Good day
When trying to add an 'Other Locations' in Nautilus CentOS 7.5, Nautilus
always 100% of the time crash with a kernel error.
Here is a short video showing the workflow:

This did not happen in 7.4
Both 7.4 and 7.5 runs on VirtualBox 5.2.12 - but as stated before, this did
not happen in 7.4
I also did a fresh clean install of both

FYI: intention to remove mail subject prefix & footer text
Hi List Subscribers,
In recent months we have been seeing an increasing number of bounced
deliveries from libvirt mailing lists[1] due to DMARC policies on list
subscriber's mail servers. IOW, many subscribers are only receiving
a subset of mails sent to the libvirt mailing lists.
We believe the root cause of many of the problems is that mailman is
modifying the mail subject to add the

FYI: Wiki account self-registration disabled
Unfortunately evil spammers have managed to defeat all the anti-spam
measures we've tried with the wiki. So it is with regret that we have
had to disable new wiki account self-registration.
We do still welcome contributions from anyone interested in adding
wiki content. We just ask that you send a mail to the main devel

CentOS 7.5 Nautilus 100% reproducible crash.
Pardon me, but I forgot to add that right after this crash, htop as root
shows the VBoxClient service running maxed on one core until system is
rebooted.
Not sure if it is CentOS bug or VirtualBox bug because this did not happen
in 7.4 on same version of VirtualBox, and unfortunately I don't have access
to a bare metal machine on which to install and test.

bad text under KDE and C7
If it is to just get better font rendering (infinality freetype rendering);
have a look at this gist:
https://gist.github.com/sunnz/11cd72135a0d6a3ec6b6
it requires the installation of some packages from non fedault repos such as
nux-desktop and sets up a new fonts.conf file.
However, once used, it is impossible to work on a RHEL 7 type system without
this installed. Font rendering looks better

Digitially Signed Communications
Dear All,
The below are snippets of the policies that are causing connection issues for me from Windows 7 workstations, connected to a Domain, to Samba Shares :
Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (always) Enabled
Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (if server agrees) Enabled
Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (always)

Re: Information needed regarding the libvirt version libvirt-1.0.6-1
Hi Daniel,
Thanks a lot for providing us your pointers. From the domain.xml(attached
in my previous mail) which we have used for defining virtual guest i can
see below lines
<emulator>/usr/local/bin/qemu-system-x86_64</emulator>
We were using same domain.xml in eralier libvirt version and the execution
of cpu_stats command was successful. Now if we have to get

The i915 driver is fairly rock solid - virtually all desktop machines
these days have on-board Intel video, it's the lowest common
denominator. And your chipset is not exactly cutting edge stuff.
Are there any errors in the logs - either kernel logs or X logs?
For some reason you say you

Good Day,
I am testing, in a lab environment, samba shares with ad authentication for access. My setup is as follows :

* RHEL 5.9
* Windows 7
* Windows XP SP3
* Samba 3.0.33-3.39.el5_8
All machines, including the RHEL Server having been added to the Domain running on the Windows 2008 RC2 Server.
As per the subject, when trying to connect, from XP or Win 7, to the shares I

libvirt RPC error
Hi,
I'm using qemu+ssh://username at hostname/system as the remote URI. Libvirt seems to be communicating fine until some 2 minutes (we poll every 5 seconds) and then it throws up RPC error and many counters are wrong. But if I collect on localhost the counters seems to be coming fine. Test and testvm are guests on the local machine where as Win8 and Ubuntu* are remote URI's connected

freebsd 7 and areca controller
Hi.
I'm looking at deploying a freebsd 7-release server with some storage
attached to an areca ARC-1680 controller. But this card is not
mentioned in 'man 4 arcmsr'
(http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=arcmsr&sektion=4&manpath=FreeBSD+7.0-RELEASE).
Areaca's website does mention freebsd as a supported OS
(http://www.areca.com.tw/products/pcietosas1680series.htm).
