Re: Managing VMs across multiple physical hosts
Looks like an interesting project for a number of reasons. Do you guys have a mailing list though? Cos I’ve run into a couple of installation issues that I need assistance resolving.

Re: Managing VMs across multiple physical hosts
Hi Daniel,
mist.io is an open source project and a Saas for managing clouds, servers
and KVM hypervisors. The open source version can be found on
https://github.com/mistio/mist.io
Feel free to open issues on what is missing from an ideal KVM management
solution.

Markos

KVM management through the web with libvirt and mist.io
Hi,
I would like to announce that we have integrated libvirt for managing KVM
vms on mist.io. Mist.io is an open source project and a service that can
assist you in managing your vms on a unified way, providing a simple
interface for all of your infrastructure (multiple public cloud providers,
OpenStack based public/private clouds, Docker servers, bare metal servers
and now KVM hypervisors).

Unencypted Passwords problem
I am having difficulties in two areas regarding unencrypted
passwords. The first is I added the use Administrator to the unix box,
and I can log in from the console, however I cannot log in from a
LANMANAGER client. The second thing is that accounts in the unix passwd
file that have null passwords can't login to the samba server either. Is
there a solution to either of these problems; if

* Call Monitoring
I've got a nagios plugin making sure the * box is up, but I would like
to do more than that.
I need to make sure the PRIs connected to my box stay up and I need to
make sure calls are not failing for any reason. Are there any *
monitoring packages like this?

Samba4 Parameter Settings
Hello,
is there a possibility to dump all parameters Samba is configured to run? I mean all parameters including defaults, not only those in smb.conf.
I'm just interested because possibly I would modify some parameters due to security, performance, etc.

I’ve missed it. I did a quick search and the only thread I found is back from 2013. Could you please provide me with a link to the thread?

Tinc OSPF involving bridge
Hi Everyone,
I have a routing situation where Tinc looks like it could come in extremely useful, but I have a query I hope someone can cast an eye on, as I'm unsure whether Tinc can help me here.
I currently have a Quagga OSPF linux router which connects LAN A to LAN B over the quickest available of two routes (both routes at both ends connect to Quagga boxes to prevent collisions).

ACLs over NFSv4 and Samba
>From what I've read so far Samba supports POSIX ACLs, correct? If so, will
they work over NFSv4 exports?
The reason I'm asking is as follows:
We're considering redoing our storage systems which currently also house
Samba servers. These are currently running on Linux boxes with NFS exports
to the rest of our networks. Many machines with massive amounts of storage,
one Samba

[LLVMdev] Forward/Backward Interprocedural Slicing in LLVM
Hi All,
Are there any known implementations of static inter-procedural slicing
for LLVM (especially forward slicing)?
I did find a few references to it in the archives dating back to 2008,
but am not sure what the current status is.
Any pointers would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

LDAP help!
Hey list,
Right now I have Samba+LDAP working (like a charm acctually) I just
have one issue. Right now Samba is authenticating the user against
the sambaLMPassword and/or the sambaNTPassword attributes.
I would rather it authenticated against the userPassword attribute
like my unix boxes and mail servers do. Is samba capable of doing
this? Otherwise I have to maintain two seperate passwords
