virsh dominfo does not show correct cpuTime
Hi, I am doing some domain resource monitoring work. I use cat /dev/urandom | md5sum to simulate vCPU load and write a script to calculate vCPU utilization. It seems all good at the beginning. After I abort the ``cat ... md5sum`` command in domain, I see some strange data as below: CPU time: 8410960000000 CPU util: 99.8410609331% CPU time: 8411970000000 CPU util: 100.843672381% CPU time:

Keep-timestamp-in-`get'-patch for smbclient in samba-2.0.3
-------- --Multipart_Thu_Apr__8_13:33:51_1999-1 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Hello guys, I always wondered why smbclient keeps timestamp in `put'ting a file but does not keep it in `get'ting a file. Alternative to keep the time stamp in `get'ting file is to use -Tc option or smbtar script, but they are a bit hairy for interactive use, and it can only dump files with an

smbclient and large file support
smbclient (and smbtar) in version 2.2.7a (and prior) has problems with large files (> 4GB). The following patch (against 2.2.7a) fixes all known problems with this. This code has been checked into the CVS tree in all branches as well. -- ====================================================================== Herb Lewis Silicon Graphics Networking Engineer

cbqmon.pl
Some time ago someone posted a nice script to monitor HTB classes, classmon.pl. A friend of mine ported it to CBQ, and attached is the result. Suggestions are welcome. virsh dominfo not returning any stats
Hi there,  We're running virsh on centos and hit a couple of issues. First instance is cpu.time not incrementing even with the VMs on the hypervisor running a stress tool. After running 'virsh domstats' sometimes it'll go into a state where no output is generated at all. Have anyone seen something like this? We're running a pretty recent build of libvirt.  # virsh

And the pc's affected are not the same each time. this might be the case if what is REALLY going on is that the pc's that are STILL working never lost their connection to SAMBA/iX, so they already(still) have a working

[PATCH 0 of 4] Support for VM generation ID save/restore and migrate
This patch series adds support for preservation of the VM generation ID buffer address in xenstore across save/restore and migrate, and also code to increment the value in all cases except for migration. Patch 1 modifies the guest ro and rw node creation to an open coding style and cleans up some extraneous node creation. Patch 2 modifies creation of the hvmloader key in xenstore and adds

[PATCH 0 of 2] Support for VM generation ID save/restore and migrate
This patch series adds support for preservation of the VM generation ID buffer address in xenstore across save/restore and migrate, and also code to increment the value in all cases except for migration. The vast majority of the code is in second patch. The first patch merely changes the xenstore key name used by hvmloader to store the buffer address.
