I am trying to a install Centos 5.1 32-bit Xen HVM DomU onto a Centos 5.1 64bit DomU with the default xen installed and the kickstart hangs at random points during the install process. Sometimes retrieving the image, sometimes formatting the filesystem, sometimes installing the packages,etc. I tried upgrading to xen 3.2 and encounter the same problem before rebuilding back to stock Centos 5.1

Looking for help kind of in a hurry. I've been searching google but not finding any options. Is there any way to fix missing /dev paths to luns without rebooting? Is anyone using CentOS 6 on PC104 stacks? I have tried a couple of different CPU cards with CentOS 6.5 [no updates]. I have SATA drives and have found that the newest smartmontools package will retrieve smart data from SATA drives with the '-d ata' switch. Is there a devel/testing package of kernel-utils available or should I just roll my own? Rik

Hi, just some script built along: Unattended install & run CentOS-4.1 just using chroot(1). Mostly a surprise for me it was so easy to reach that goal. It requires rpm(1) based host OS and it was tested only on Fedora Core 4. I needed it to do only a bit customized CentOS kernel package rebuild.
