[nbdkit PATCH] captive: Support $uri in --run
The existing --run '$nbd' outputs an older form that differs between libguestfs and qemu, and which is not always a valid URI. For historical compatibility, we probably can't change that; but we can instead add a new '$uri' that outputs a valid URI. Note that the libguestfs '$nbd' TCP form is already a valid URI, but that libguestfs still needs to be taught about the

[nbdkit PATCH 0/2] Fix nbdkit --run when nbdkit hits assertion
Found while working on the retry filter. Swap the order of the two patches to see nbdkit ignore assertion failures with status 0. improvement of Ancova analysis
Dear Helpers, I just started working with R and I'm a bit overloaded with information. My data is from marsupials reindroduced in a area. I have weight(wt), hind foot lenghts(pes) as continues variables and origin and gender as categorial. condition is just the residuals i took from the model. > names(dat1) [1] "wt" "pes" "origin" "gender"

[nbdkit PATCH v2 0/6] Improve retry filter
Includes a rework of the previously posted patch for --run improvements (mostly with improved comments and commit message; I decided that waiting for the captive nbdkit to exit was overkill), and four new patches. The tests are intentionally separate, to allow rearranging the order of the series to see the failures being fixed. Eric Blake (6): server: Propagate unexpected nbdkit failure with

[nbdkit PATCH v2 0/2] adding nbdkit --run '$uri'
Since v1: - new patch to add uri_quote() - rebase on top of other recent patches needed while auditing shell_quote() - use uri_quote() instead of shell_quote() for producing $uri Eric Blake (2): common/utils: Add uri_quote and tests captive: Support $uri in --run docs/nbdkit-captive.pod | 8 ++- common/utils/utils.h | 1 + common/utils/test-quotes.c | 108

[nbdkit PATCH] server: Reinstate limited use of -e/-exportname.
While we are unlikely to change our decision that -e should not control our response to NBD_OPT_LIST (because we intend to add a new callback .extents_list for that), it turns out that it is a lot easier to write: nbdkit -U - -e foo info --run 'nbdsh -u "$uri" -c "print(h.pread(3, 0))"' than it is to write the equivalent: nbdkit -U - info --run 'nbdsh -u

Virus Question
Hi, the Wine program seems great. I run Eudora in WinXP, and this program will enable me to run Eudora in Fedora 3 and use the same mailboxes via Captive-NTFS - and so I will always have my email up-to-date. I have one big concern: viruses. Is it possible for me to get infected with a virus using Wine? If I got infected, how well could the virus infect my system? Meaning, I plan to

[PATCH nbdkit] server: Deprecate the -e/--exportname parameter.
This parameter provided a name for the "default export" -- ie. the one and only export returned to the client by NBD_OPT_LIST. But nbdkit traditionally didn't care what export name the client requested. Since 1.16 plugins have been able to serve different content per export name (and return errors for unknown exports), but the -e option didn't reflect that and only created

Captive Portal compatible with Shorewall
Can anyone recommend a captive portal solution that is compatible Shorewall? I know they are not completely secure but I have use for it. Thanks! trust secret location in WinXP
Hi, At our campus we have ~40 machines. If a new program is needed we install it on a single machine and replicate this one to the others. The whole process is automated: (Wake-On-LAN) (with pxe) booting a kernel via grub. booting a minimal ram based linux and doing: netcat server port > /dev/hda If we send a WOL packet the restore process starts. The problem is that we have to rejoin each

captive portal
Hello, Forgive the cross-posting, but googling showed results from these two lists. I'm looking to set up a WiFi gateway with two nics, and iptables. The catch is i have to use a captive portal as well to ensure all traffic goes to a single destination. I've read about several packages, but haven't seen any docs that say how to integrate everything. If anyone has this setup

Puzzled about PAM support in OpenSSH-3.7.1p2
I'm trying to understand the code around PAM support in auth2.c and auth2-chall.c. I'm working with the OpenSSH 3.7.1p2 sources on FreeBSD 4.x. The scenario I'm trying to make work is SSH login to a captive accout for users in a RADIUS database but whose login does not appear in /etc/passwd or getpwnam(). I understand that if the username is not found in getpwnam(), then the

captive Portal Pfsense + FreeRadius + MySQL DBMS
Dear Friends Greetings, i have a question for you, i am sure someone can help. The pfsense captive portal is up and running. Time countdown vouchers are working without issue, such as 30m, 45m, 1h & so on. However, I'd like to set up a download quota of 200MB per voucher. but then you need to login with a username and password, instead of vouchers. but I haven't found a way to
