[PATCH 0/1] v2v: Add the test-harness used by external tests.
As I'm now working through the enormous virt-v2v/virt-p2v bug list, we
need a high quality set of tests to ensure that we don't accidentally
regress some old OS/hypervisor combination while making changes.
The test cases are going to be huge, so we cannot possibly distribute
them in libguestfs. Furthermore many of them have licensing problems
which means we cannot redistribute them at

"make distcheck" failure
Hi Rich,
I ran these commands as non-root:
./autogen.sh && make && make distcheck
It got most of the way through, but failed in the VPATH part
while rebuilding from a ./_build subdir, like this:
make[4]: Entering directory `/h/j/w/co/hivex/hivex-1.3.6/_build/ocaml'
mkdir -p /usr/lib64/ocaml
mkdir -p /usr/lib64/ocaml/stublibs

[PATCH 1/4] More fixes for situations where ocamlopt is not available
- run bindtests.opt only if available
- use ocamlc -custom

enable build for ocaml bytecode
This is a first attempt to build libguestfs with just a ocaml bytecode
compiler. The three tools written in ocaml will be build only when an
ocamlopt compiler is available.

install errors for libguestfs-1.19.60
I've been using libguestfs-1.18.9 but decided to "upgrade" to 1.19.60.
Using Ubuntu 12.04 with the older version installed via source.
So I went through the same process with the new version of guestfs sources
and got the following errors on 'make install':
make[2]: Nothing to be done for `install-exec-am'.
make install-data-hook
make[3]: Entering directory

[PATCH 0/9] Package the ocaml libraries
The following set of patches package up the ocaml libraries that are
part of the standard xen build. The patches are also currently available

[nbdkit PATCH] build: Install ocaml files relative to --prefix
Rather than always trying to install ocaml files into $(OCAMLLIBS),
which is likely to be root-owned and therefore fail during a
'./configure --prefix=$HOME/subdir', we instead choose to always
install relative to $(prefix) and let distro packagers take steps
post-install to move the distro's pre-built copy into the correct

Ocamlfind can't find hivex

Apologies if this is the wrong list, I initially opened a github ticket
before reading that github isn't the right spot.
Trying to compile libguestfs and in the process need to get hivex compiled
and installed.
Hivex compiles and installs fine (I think), but ocamlfind doesn't seem to
pick up hivex after the install causing the autogen.sh script in

Today I did it, for the very first time:
Did not build a package. Just ran "make install". Twice!
...

ocamlfind: Package guestfs is already installed

[PATCH 1/2] ocaml: Only build the tests when running 'make check'.
Make the tests 'check_DATA' so they only get built when running the
tests. This saves a couple of seconds on the build time.
