[PATCH] inspect: try to use /etc/os-release on Linux guests
If a Linux guest has /etc/os-release (mandatory for systemd, so all the
recent Linux distributions have it), try to parse it for the distro, its
version, and its product name. If we cannot get all of them, the
detection as done so far continues.
Other than changes in the product_name string (which is free-form
anyway, and already documented to not be parseable), there should be no
regressions in

[PATCH 2/2] inspect: switch to version struct for os major/minor version
Use the version struct in inspect_fs to hold the version of a
filesystem, adapting the inspection code to that.
Also, move the parts of the version parsing to helper functions of the
version struct, so common bits like parsing "X.Y" or "X" version strings
is done only once.

[PATCH] ocfs2: Use xs->bucket to set xattr value outside.
Tristan,
could you please run your xattr test against it?
xs->base used to be allocated a 4K size and all the contents in the
bucket are copied to the it. So in ocfs2_xattr_bucket_set_value_outside,
we are safe to use xs->base + offset. Now we use ocfs2_xattr_bucket to
abstract xattr bucket and xs->base is initialized to the start of the
bu_bhs[0]. So xs->base + offset will overflow

[PATCH 0/2] src: introduce an helper version struct
Hi,
this adds an helper version struct, and uses it in the backends (for the
libvirt and qemu versions) and inspection code. This also moves common
code to that, so it is not repeated in many places.
This should help with the small refactoring proposed with

[PATCH] ocfs2/security: Check xattr support in security_init.
If the system supports selinux, we will return sucessfully from
ocfs2_init_security_get if it is called for the mount point.
And in that case if the volume doesn't have xattr support, we
will not be able to create a new inode in the mount dir because
ocfs2_mknod will try to set security attributes for a new created
inode. This patch check xattr support in ocfs2_init_security_get,
so it will

[PATCH 0/3] virt-resize: preserve GPT partitions label
Hi,
attached there are few patches to implement a way to get the label of
GPT partitions (refactoring an existing function and adding a new
daemon API) and using it in virt-resize to restore them when copying
partitions.
Thanks,
Pino Toscano (3):
daemon: parted: refactor sgdisk info parsing code
New API: part-get-name (RHBZ#593511).
resize: preserve GPT partition names (RHBZ#1060404).

[PATCH 1/3] daemon: parted: refactor sgdisk info parsing code
Isolate in an own function the code that runs sgdisk and parse a field
of it (using an extraction function passed as parameter), using it for
the GUID type.
This is just code motion, no actual behaviour changes.

[PATCH 0/2] ocfs2: two fixes for xattr
Hi,
For EAs data structure in inode/block are little different from them in
bucket. These two patches try to make them same for the most part.
The first patch set xh_free_start and xh_name_value_len when EAs in
inode/block. xh_free_start is useful to keep the minimum offset of the
xattr name/value. But xh_name_value_len is not very useful because we
don't have "hole" when EAs in

[PATCH 2/3] New API: part-get-name (RHBZ#593511).
Counterpart of part-set-name, it uses sgdisk (hence needs the "gdisk"
feature) to query for the label/name of a partition in a GPT layout.

Hi Joseph
yes, I already reintroduced the check.
