[RFC PATCH 00/68] VFS: Convert a bunch of filesystems to the new mount API
Hi Al, Here's a set of patches that converts a bunch (but not yet all!) to the new mount API. To this end, it makes the following changes: (1) Provides a convenience member in struct fs_context that is OR'd into sb->s_iflags by sget_fc(). (2) Provides a convenience helper function, vfs_init_pseudo_fs_context(), for doing most of the work in mounting a pseudo filesystem.

[PATCH 00/79] fs: new accessors for inode->i_ctime
I've been working on a patchset to change how the inode->i_ctime is accessed in order to give us conditional, high-res timestamps for the ctime and mtime. struct timespec64 has unused bits in it that we can use to implement this. In order to do that however, we need to wrap all accesses of inode->i_ctime to ensure that bits used as flags are appropriately handled. This patchset first

[PATCH 15/18] virtiofs: Make virtio_fs object refcounted
This object is used both by fuse_connection as well virt device. So make this object reference counted and that makes it easy to define life cycle of the object. Now deivce can be removed while filesystem is still mounted. This will cleanup all the virtqueues but virtio_fs object will still be around and will be cleaned when filesystem is unmounted and sb/fc drops its reference. Removing a

[PATCH 16/18] virtiofs: Use virtio_fs_mutex for races w.r.t ->remove and mount path
It is possible that a mount is in progress and device is being removed at the same time. Use virtio_fs_mutex to avoid races. This also takes care of bunch of races and removes some TODO items. [PATCH 00/22] Some documentation fixes
Fix several warnings and broken links. This series was generated against linux-next, but was rebased to be applied at docs-next. It should apply cleanly on either tree. There's a git tree with all of them applied on the top of docs/docs-next at: https://git.linuxtv.org/mchehab/experimental.git/log/?h=fix_doc_links_v2 Mauro Carvalho Chehab (21): ABI: sysfs-devices-system-cpu: point to

[PATCH 00/18] virtiofs: Fix various races and cleanups round 1
Hi, Michael Tsirkin pointed out issues w.r.t various locking related TODO items and races w.r.t device removal. In this first round of cleanups, I have taken care of most pressing issues. These patches apply on top of following. git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/mszeredi/fuse.git#virtiofs-v4 I have tested these patches with mount/umount and device removal using qemu monitor.
