Thank you for that. I?ve set up the thinstation-v5.6.1.iso in vm and setup the chroot. I did my first ./build ?allmodules and wrote the iso to usb using lili version 2.0 so that I can boot with older syslinux. I am doing this for the needed hardware profile to build from inside the vm however the usb has been stuck on the syslinux version line with a line following: Thinstation..... for 30 minutes

ifmem.c32
Hello,
This module can be used to select the files to boot according to the
memory size:
http://hg.slitaz.org/wok/raw-file/d5f670b08670/syslinux/stuff/extra/ifmem.c
Usage:
kernel ifmem.c32
append SizeInKB LabelLarge [SizeInKB LabelMedium]... LabelTiny
Slitaz webboot (http://boot.slitaz.org/) uses it in the main configuration

gpxelinux feature request
Hi All,
A while back there was some mention that gpxe may acquire the
ability to receive command-line parameters. I'd dearly love if
this could become a reality.
It would be fantastic if we could have a pxelinux menu config
as follows:
KERNEL gpxelinux.0
APPEND config http://someserver.net/gpxe-for-this-box.cfg
This would solve a huge number of our problems since we
don't have the

lss broken when upgraded 4.05 to 6.03
Hi,
I have just joined the list.
I am the original creator of Puppy Linux, now letting other guys take
the reins, and I am working on a fork of Puppy called Quirky Linux,
where I try various experimental ideas.
Up until now, in Puppy and all offshoots, we have used syslinux 4.05 or older.
Over the last few days I have been testing 6.03 (using the binary DEBs
from Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn),

Can almost boot on UEFI win8.1 laptop
I have used syslinux 4.0x and earlier for many years, with Puppy Linux
and more recently Quirky Linux. Though, my knowledge of all the
capabilities of syslinux remains rudimentary.
I am new to UEFI. I recently got my hands on a win8.1 laptop, 64-bit
system, and decided to tackle booting Quirky on it, from a USB stick.
I turned off Secure Boot.
I wrote /usr/share/syslinux/gptmbr.bin to the flash

different behaviour with ubuntu or with slitaz
Hello,
I am a teacher and I use educational softwares that do not require installation.
Here's an example:
http://artic.ac-besancon.fr/svt/act_ped/svt_clg/troisieme/defenses/defenses-immunitaires-3eme.zip
My problem is that most of these software work relatively well under slitaz with wine version 1.2.3 but not on ubuntu10.04 with the same version of wine.
I have display problems.
