wine-20050419 - where to set audio driver type?
Hi,
In a completely clean account that's never run Wine before I run
wine --version. Wine installs a new .wine directory but this Wine
directory has no config file. I looked in the 3 obvious files but none
of them seem to have an option for changing between OSS, Alsa and
JAck. where do I make this setting change now?
Thanks,
Mark

[LLVMdev] LLVM in Eclipse
Hi,
I am new to Eclipse IDE. I am working with LLVM using command line for
some time. Now I want to integrate it with eclipse IDE. Can anyone please

and built it in the eclipse IDE.
Sorry for this type of novice request.

old Wine from CVS
Hi,
I'm debugging an audio problem that started sometime post
wine-20040505. That release works fine, but running under
wine-20040615 the program fails. Looking at the Changelog for 0615 it
says that 'lots of audio bugs were fixed'. Probably true, but it looks
like one was created.
So, how can I download Wine for a specific date? Say wine-20040525.
I tried to figure out these

After years - goodbye to Wine-Users
After being on this list for years, mostly as a lurker and sometime
participant, I find that due specifically to the new changes in list
membership via the forums that it's time for me to unsubscribe. While
I think it's a very healthy in the long run to have more folks
participating in Wine's growth I also find the quality of the emails
coming across my desk to be significantly less

[LLVMdev] Creating and building LLVM projects with Eclipse CDT on Windows?
I just downloaded LLVM a couple days ago -- I got everything built and
installed quite easily using CMake to generate build files for Eclipse CDT +
MinGW. That much worked like a charm -- but I've spent most of the
intervening time trying to get a simple project set up. :-P
My goal is to create a project consisting of two main parts:
- A backend for WDC 65816
- A frontend including a

Excellent - many thanks to all.
To be honest i found the manual "An introduction to R" not very
user-friendly.
Thanks all.

TradeStation under Wine
Hi,
For kicks I tried installing the newest version of TradeStation
which came out yesterday using the WineHQ tarball build I just did.
The install goes along for a few minutes but then failes with the info
below. The error is repeated lots of times and then just dies as
shown.
I'm wondering if TS requires some Windows stuff that isn't part of
the normal build?
Thanks,

winebuild problems - wine-20050930
Hi,
Does anyone know what happened to the --debug option in winebuild?
It seems to have disappeared in more recent versions of Wine.
I am attempting to build a program that uses winebuild with the
debug in a Make file. This no longer builds. What's the proper way to
change the Makefile now that this option no longer exists?
I know that's a vague question, but it seems that often

TradeStation under Wine - install failure
Hi,
I haven't attempted to use Wine in at least a couple of years so
I'm VERY out of date with how to really set it up and install an
application. However I'm using TradeStation on Windows Vista and not
enjoying Vista at all so I'm motivated to at least see if TS would
work under Wine. My initial attempts didn't go so well so I'm checking
in to see what the real users

Multi-line comments?
Hi,
I looked in the language definition and was surprised. Is there
really no multi-line/block comment defined in R?
I wanted to comment out 20 lines that I'm moving to a function but
didn't want to delete them. Is there no defined way to get around
using a # on each of the 20 lines?
Thanks,
Mark

How to make C drive to point to /usr/share/wine-c
Hello,
I want the C drive to be pointing to /usr/share/wine-c instead of
./drive_c by default, without modifying in the config file. That is on
typing the command "wine" itself , "dosdrives" in .wine directory
should contain the symlink to /usr/share/wine-c for "C" drive.
Where should I edit for that, so that i get the C drive pointing to
/usr/share/wine-c by

Interpretation of Variance decomposition in VAR model
Hi all,
This question is not really R related, rather on Statistics subject itself. Even I did not do those using R. however still I want to post it here, because my hope is I could get help from great statisticians who are the very active member of this group.
My problem is to interpret Variance decomposition of VAR model in layman's language.
Using EViews I got following :

Mouse focus in Wine
Hi,
If I play a game in Wine - either Caesar III or Half Life come to
mind right now - they seem to work better for me in a windowed setup
where the game is not full screen and I can still see the rest of my
Gnome desktop in the background. Caesar III plays well under Cedega or
Wine, HL much better under Cedega, but the point being that I've tried
both.
The frustration I've had is
