R spec file change for building on CentOS 5.2 (PR#12939)
--GZVR6ND4mMseVXL/
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Disposition: inline
I built R 2.7.2 on CentOS 5.2 today. I used the R.spec file posted
on the web site, but I had to change one line to get it to work.
I have attached the diffs from my spec file to the original.
(Otherwise, the build went fine.)

Using ssh as a wrapper
Has anyone tried to wrap your SMB session inside another TCP protocol
like SSH?
I'm trying to sync files across two linux machines but my broadband
provider is blocking SMB and port 139 traffic.
If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.

[Asterisk-Dev] How to monitor Agen Voice channal?
Hello,
How can we monitor agents voice channels for training or quality control
purpose. While agent is talking to a customer we need to be able to monitor
voice channel (the actual voice conversation). If possible we would like to
do that without putting agents in conference rooms. Is there any possible
way to do that? Has someone done this?
In addition when we tried to put the agent in

Problem Making a SIP call over a long latency network - Call rejected: 407 Proxy Authentication Required
Hello,
We are getting error: Call rejected: 407 Proxy Authentication Required - if
a user is trying to call using * over a long latency network (around 600
ms). There is no problem when the same user is trying to make a call with
low latency network (around 300 ms). I have included the debug and log
messages for Asterisk. This call is done with SJphone, the same problem
exists with ATA;

IP-PSTN / PSTN-IP Gateway Service Providers
We manage our own VOIP solution using Asterisk.
Has anyone had success with an IP-PSTN provider? I'm looking for someone to terminate SIP calls to the PSTN in the Seattle, Washington area. (vice-versa as well if possible)
Yes, I could do it myself via asterisk and digium cards but I would like to consider other options.
Any opinions?
Thanks,
Chad

1800 Provider
Hi list,
I'm interested in receiving incoming call to my Asterisk PBX thru an 1800 number. Anybody knows a provider with best minute rate? I heard that that Nufone can provide this service for around 3cents/min for calls made within 48 continental states. Any provider that can give better rate, even with additional limitation such as much few states that a call can originate? How do

PSTN Gateway
Hello,
I am looking for information on setting up digium FXO card for use as a
PSTN Gateway (H323-PSTN) to work with GNUGk.
I am basically looking for the setup and it would be great if anyone can
share his experiences with the same. Also, if there are any limitations in
going for such a setup and problems that may arise/things that I should keep
in consideration.
Thanks & Regards,
Deepak

OpenSSH tmp cleanup
Hi,
I noticed that Markus has fixed the temporary file cleanup problems in
OpenSSH cvs. What files need patching for this ? I only noticed
changes in: session.c, channels.h and channels.c.

[PATCH v2] xen/console: buffer and show origin of guest PV writes
Guests other than domain 0 using the console output have previously been
controlled by the VERBOSE define, but with no designation of which
guest''s output was on the console. This patch converts the HVM output
buffering to be used by all domains, line buffering their output and
prefixing it with the domain ID. This is especially useful for debugging
stub domains.

[PATCH 10/12 bugfix: openssh-4.3p2: memory leak
The variable local_user was allocated by xstrdup and is not freed or
pointed to in this branch. This patch adds the xfree. This entire set
of patches passed the regression tests on my system. Bug found by

Coding help : Where to log X11 forwards?
OpenSSH 5.1p1
I can't grasp why, when connecting with 'ssh -Y' to this
test host, I am not tickling the verbose() call below that
I have added.
I am logging as auth + verbose in sshd_config
The X11 forward for the session works fine as tested with
xterm.
At any rate, I am looking for some guidance on where
to log X11 forwards that are established, ideally with
a username and remote

[PATCH] Xen/MCE: stick all 1's to MCi_CTL of vMCE
Jan,
This patch just used to stick all 1''s to MCi_CTL, it should not involve much argue, so I sent it separately.
Thanks,

Sending immediate PAM auth failure messages via kbd-int
Hi.
One thing that people seem to want to do with PAM is to deny a login
immediately without interacting but return a message to the user. (Some
platforms implement, eg, /etc/nologin via PAM this way.) Currently, sshd
will just deny the login and the user will not be told why.
Attached it a patch that return a keyboard-interactive packet with the
message in the "instruction"

Adding 'name' key types
Playing around with the [wonderful] GSS-API patches for OpenSSH [1] I
noticed that there is a bit of functionality missing from
OpenSSH/GSS-API, namely that authorized_keys2 has no meaning when using
GSS authentication.
Yes, ~/.k5login can be used to grant access to an account for
applications that support Kerberos, as does OpenSSH with those GSS
patches, but .k5login does not and cannot provide

[PATCH] cpufreq: error path fixes
This fixes an actual bug (failure to exit from a function after an
allocation failure), an inconsistency (not removing the cpufreq_dom
list member upon failure), and a latent bug (not clearing the current
governor upon governor initialization failure when there was no old
one; latent because the only current code path leading to this
situation frees the policy upon failure and hence the governor

Protocol 2 remote forwarding patch
Hi !
Here's a patch to add remote port forwarding support (protocol 2) for
openssh. I have tried to test that it works like it should but a more
thorough testing is needed. This patch adds both client/server support.
The patch should be applied to openssh-2.1.1p4 source tree.
Also included is a PortForwarding sshd_config option, new ./configure
option --disable-forwarding that should make it
