[RFC] Improve btrfs subvolume find-new command
Hi all, enclose a patch to improve the "btrfs subvolume find-new" command. This is a RFC because it is not finished, but it is an usable state and may be discussed. The aim of this patch is: - take in account not only an update of the extent but also an update of the inode and xattr (which includes the acl) - extract the generation reference number directly from a snapshot The new

[PATCH 001/001] Add UFS1/2 support to Extlinux installer.
It's needed to enumerate both UFS1/2 since they have different magic numbers and super block offsets. Besides, UFS2 can be installed in the 0-64k range like BTRFS, whereas UFS1 can't. [PATCH] add crtime to the snapshot list
From: Anand <anand.jain@oracle.com> This patch adds creation-time to the snapshot list display, which would help user to better manage the snapshots when number of snapshots grow substantially. [PATCH] BTRFS_IOC_TREE_SEARCH: store and use the last key found
Hi all, following the thread about the BTRFS_IOC_TREE_SEARCH ioctl [1], I made a patch which try to address the problem of restarting the ioctl. In the current solution is the application during the restart of the search to fill the min_* fields in the "struct btrfs_ioctl_search_key". In general the values set are the last one returned "+1". But doing so we reduce the

ldlinux: CurrentDir not set if syslinux.cfg is missing
If a syslinux floppy does not contain a config file (syslinux.cfg) modules are not being found unless specified with a directory prefix (e.g. /pcitest.c32). The reason is that CurrentDir is only set if there is a config file present. This is a possible regression since commit 68eefb79e2cbb590ebf958dd0c50ce00b941abd2. Before this change RootDir was used in searchdir and now it's CurrentDir

Selective sync
I have a strange problem, apparently contradicting man pages and recent postings on --include / --exclude options. On the server host I have directories to replicate only if they match a specific pattern ( date in different formats), they might be located 1 or 2 levels down from root directory and these parent directories (but not files) have to be replicated too. I understand, that given :

[PATCH] Btrfs: fix passing wrong arg gfp_t to decide the correct allocation mode
If you look the code carefully, you will see all the tree_mod_alloc() has to use GFP_ATOMIC. However, the original code pass the wrong arg gfp_t in some places, this dosen''t cause any problems, because in the tree_mod_alloc(), it ignores arg gfp_t and just use GFP_ATOMIC directly, this is not good. However, i think we should try best not to allocate with GFP_ATOMIC, so i keep the gfp_t
