[patch] alpha grab errno from right register after syscall
From: Steve Langasek <vorlon@debian.org> The next problem in line was that when trying to clear the initramfs to free memory before overmounting, run-init was getting EPERM instead of EISDIR when calling unlink() on directories. After stepping through both glibc and klibc linked binaries, I've concluded that the issue is simply that klibc is trying to read the errno from the wrong

[PATCH 1/6] drm/nouveau: Extend NVKM HDMI power control method to set InfoFrames
The nouveau driver, in the Linux 3.7 days, used to try and set the AVI InfoFrame based on the selected display mode. These days, it uses a fixed set of InfoFrames. Start to correct that, by providing a mechanism whereby InfoFrame data may be passed to the NVKM functions that do the actual configuration. At this point, only establish the new parameters and their parsing, don't actually use

[LLVMdev] PHI
I'm getting this error in my mips16 port. I think that PHI replacement is done in some target independent phase. In the process of debugging this. Maybe to someone else it's obvious how this can happen . tia, Reed *** Bad machine code: MBB exits via unconditional fall-through but its successor differs from its CFG successor! *** - function: main - basic block: BB#0 entry

altivec lpc_restore_signal
I've had this a long time but haven't submitted it yet. I've tried to mirror the ia32 setup, so there should be a new subdirectory src/libFLAC/ppc . The first two attachments go there. The third is a context diff for src/libFLAC/Makefile.am . I have some more modified files, which I figured I'd submit after the above are checked in and working for somebody other than me. If you

Problems building the java/jdk14 port
Hi there. I am unable to build the java/jdk14 port. I downloaded the patches and source distribution, and get some weird HotSpot error. I am not sure what the problem could be. Following is the relevant output of make on the port. Any ideas? -- Tom # Start of jdk build bsd i586 1.4.1-p3 build started: 03-04-07 12:16 Syntax error: "(" unexpected gmake[1]: Entering directory

[ANNOUNCE] klibc 2.0.6
I have just released version 2.0.6. This is available in the git repository at: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/libs/klibc/klibc.git and as a tarball at: https://mirrors.kernel.org/pub/linux/libs/klibc/2.0/ This new release fixes run-time bugs in file locking on 32-bit architectures, vfork() on parisc, and various system calls on alpha. It fixes build failures with an out-of-tree

[LLVMdev] Will it be slow much if a lot of BasicBlock been created?
Hi, all I am doing some work about instruction translating. and the IR is sort of:(whatever it is) %v1 = alloca i32 store i32 10, i32* %v1 %v0 = alloca i32 store i32 0, i32* %v0 %0 = load i32* %v0 %1 = add i32 %0, 1 store i32 %1, i32* %v0 %2 = load i32* %v1 %3 = add i32 %2, -1 store i32 %3, i32* %v1 %4 = load i32* %v0 ret i32 %4 I want to know that if I create a basic block for every instruction

[LLVMdev] [RFC] New command line parsing/generating framework for clang and lld.
LLVM Command Line Library I'm proposing a heavy weight command line parsing and generating library for LLVM to replace Clang's parser and provide one for lld and any future tools that may need it. The scope of this library is slightly larger than what Clang has now, but not much. It is centered around the concept of a Tool. A Tool has a set of Options which can be parsed to Arguments or

[PATCH v3 1/6] make RAM device optional
Having a RAM device does not make sense for chips like GK20A which have no dedicated video memory. The dummy RAM device that we used so far works as a temporary band-aid, but in the long-term it is desirable for the driver to be able to work without any kind of VRAM. This patch adds a few conditionals in places where a RAM device was assumed to be present and allows some more objects to be

divide the throughput by the host CPU utilization (measured by something like mpstat). Sometimes throughput doesn't increase (e.g. guest-host) by CPU utilization does decrease. So it's interesting. Another issue is that we are trying to improve the latency of a busy queue here. However STREAM/MAERTS tests ignore the latency (more or less) while TCP_RR by default runs a single packet per
