libGLU.so.1
I have a C++ program that I have been running on RedHat 6 and I want
to move to CentOS 7. When I run it on the CentOS 7 system it fails
with:
error while loading shared libraries: libGLU.so.1: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
I did this, but still have no libGLU. I did a find of the entire
system for '*libGLU*' and nothing.

crashed would be solved by sudo ?
Hi all,
Most of time I like to try out wine with game console emulators which use
fare amount of d3d or opengls, to see how much wine supports on this.
Suddenly today that the wine does not work with any emulator I have tried with,
came up with error message that is followed. But I accidentally found a workround that
with ``sudo'', the problem won't occor. Any idea ?

2.6.9-5.0.3 src rpm
I need to make a new driver disk, so I need to install the src.rpm for the
initial centos4 install kernel, kernel-2.6.9-5.0.3.EL.
However upon browsing around the mirrors, in the 4.0 directories, I find
only 2.6.9-11.EL kernels and source? What's going on here -- am I looking
in the wrong place? I would expect to see 2.6.9-11.EL in the 4.0/updates
directories, not in the 4.0/os. I would

I'm having trouble installing MinGW 5.0.3, trying to follow Duncan
Murdoch's suggestions (http://www.murdoch-sutherland.com/Rtools/). I
download "MinGW-5.0.3.exe" as he suggested. After double-clicking on
it, I get past "Welcome to MinGW" and select either "Download and

rsync hangs on big transfer Debian 5.0.3 pulling from WinXP SP3/ Cygwin 1.5.25
Debian Users, Cygwin, & Rsync:
I'm having trouble with rsync invoked on Debian 5.0.3 pulling files from
Windows XP SP3/ Cygwin 1.5.25. I posted to the Debian User and Cygwin
mailing lists [1] and thought I was done two days ago, but I wasn't --
after several hours of use of the Windows machine, rsync would again
hang on Debian.
To summarize, rsync pulls in perhaps 1,000 files from
