[PATCH] drm/nv50/graph: update status enum names
Signed-off-by: Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> --- This syncs it up with what's in envytools. Some of the names are a bit different, but I'm inclined to trust envytools as the correct thing. drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/core/engine/graph/nv50.c | 29 ++++++++++++------------ 1 file changed, 15 insertions(+), 14 deletions(-) diff --git

Reproducible "PGRAPH TLB flush timeout" hang on NV96
Hi everyone, I was wondering what to do to dig into this problem further. The kernel is several weeks old (nouveau tree), it's at commit 000463f13fba6b2f94a5bfcb0d615751ae9c34a0. As you can see from the mesages below the problem is reproducable to the point of getting exactly the same error. [PATCH] nouveau/codegen: add missing values for OP_TXLQ into the target arrays
Also rework things so that if someone were to add an opcode without adjusting the values in these arrays, there will be a compilation error. This fixes a few quadop-related piglit regressions since commit d5faf8e78603. [PATCH 2/2 V2] drm/nv50: Improve PGRAPH interrupt handling.
This makes nouveau recognise and report more kinds of PGRAPH errors, as well as prevent GPU lockups resulting from some of them. Lots of guesswork was involved and some part of this is probably incorrect. Some potential-lockuop situations are handled by just resetting a whole PGRAPH subunit, which doesn't sound like a "proper" solution, but seems to work just fine... for now.

Bug: noveau DATA_ERROR / CACHE_ERROR on Quadro NVS 290
Hi, there! Every once in a while / about once a day I have nouveau for a Quadro NVS 290 failing in my system from about kernel 3.10...up to now 3.14, so I finally decided to report this bug as it gets really annoying. After the bug appears, there are some (one per DATA_ERROR line) small 20x20 to 40x40 pixel sized odd shaped white block artefacts stuck on my (dual monitor) desktop. After a restart

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: allow nv04/nv50/nvc0+ parts of the driver to be separated
This will allow the nouveau module to only include support for nv04-nv50, nv50-nvc0, nvc0+ cards individually (or in any combination). Only compiling one of the card types at a time reduces the size of the nouveau module, from 1.3M to 700-800K, depending on the type (including symbols/etc). It should also yield a reduction in compile time as a lot fewer files are compiled. Here are the sizes
