[PATCH 1/4] drm/nouveau: add reg_debug module parameter
The various register access wrappers in nouveau_hw.h are so noisy when drm.debug > 0, that some of them can overflow the kernel message buffer. Add nouveau.ko parameter 'reg_debug', a bitmask that enables each of the wrapper debug messages individually. By default, nothing is printed. [PATCH 0202/1285] Replace numeric parameter like 0444 with macro
I find that the developers often just specified the numeric value when calling a macro which is defined with a parameter for access permission. As we know, these numeric value for access permission have had the corresponding macro, and that using macro can improve the robustness and readability of the code, thus, I suggest replacing the numeric parameter with the macro. Question regarding Postfix and Dovecot
All, Thank you for having this list, and I have a question regarding why postfix is not handing off delivery to Dovecot to virtual users. [PATCH] module parameters: permissions as defines, readable to everyone
For the purposes of the module parameters, specifies the permissions of the corresponding files in sysfs in predefined S_I* form rather than in octal notation. Withal it makes the source code more consistent. Moreover, because all parameters are readable to everyone, it is more user-friendly. $ grep S_IRUGO include/linux/stat.h #define S_IRUGO (S_IRUSR|S_IRGRP|S_IROTH) $ grep

[PATCH 00/12] TV-out modesetting kernel patches.
This patch series adds TV-out modesetting support to the KMS implementation. I've tried to test it on all the hardware I've got at hand (that is nv11, nv17, nv34, nv35, nv40, nv4b) with every possible output combination; I believe it has reached a mergeable state, however it depends on some commits from drm-next that haven't got into Linus' tree yet, if you agree to merge this

Apple mail fails with Submission
Hi, Below, you have only the submission-login debug log (authentication). I'm more interested in what happens after that. You'll need to enable mail_debug=yes (at least for the user involved) to get that. Regards, Stephan.
