A few more Solaris 7 bugs in 1.2.3pre2
These are all in the port of 1.2.3pre2: - configure accepts --includedir, but doesn't seem to pass it on to the Makefile. You have to edit the Makefile manually if you have include files anywhere but /usr/include. Which is a problem because... - The Makefile doesn't include /usr/local/include by default, which is where zlib installs itself by default. Probably oughta be in there.

How to describe the RegisterInfo?
Yes, the arch is just as you said, something like AMD GPU, but Intel GPU don't have separate register file for 'scalar/vector'. In fact my idea of defining the register tuples was borrowed from SIRegisterInfo.td in AMD GPU. But seems that AMD GPU mainly support i32/i64 register type, while Intel GPU also support byte/short register type. So I have to start defining the registers from

[LLVMdev] Issues running LLVM tests on Windows + MKS; filed 4 PRs and have patches
I have filed a number of problem reports about getting the LLVM test infrastructure working for an environment with: Windows + MSVC9 + Cmake + NMake makefiles + MKS. (MKS provides unix-like tools for Windows, but based on very old versions, so they have quirky or minimal compatibility with GNU tools.) http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=9689 - Fix Cmake generation of compile_cxx for MSVC -

[LLVMdev] X86WrapperRIP in non-small code model
Currently it appears X86WrapperRIP is only implemented in the small code model, which causes code to fail to select in other code models. My particular use case is MCJIT, where the default code model is large (the X86WrapperRIP comes from a TLS variable reference). What would be the best way to implement this? I'd be happy to take a crack at it myself, but I really don't know my way around

[LLVMdev] Issues running LLVM tests on Windows + MKS; filed 4 PRs and have patches
Good morning David, I won't accept your patches for now. It breaks lots of things in current environments, autoconf - msys, cmake - msys, cmake -mingw and cmake - msvs. - You should never forget other environments. (eg., MSYS and CMD.EXE) You should implement detecting MKS if you tweak MKS-specific stuff. - Bash should be assumed to be mature. I suppose MKS bash might be

/etc/gai.conf fails to prefer IPv4 over IPv6 for NFS
Using CentOS 6.9 with IPv4 configured, and _not_ disabling IPv6 yet, we want this NFS client system to prefer the IPv4 address of a dual-stack remote NFS server, which has both A and AAAA records in DNS. Otherwise we get a minutes long pause while automounter tries to mount the IPv6 address -- I can see automounter's '/bin/mount' running, using the AAAA record of the server, until

Got Windows guests?
Hello fellow Fedora, libvirt and libguestfs users, If you have any Windows guests, then you can help Fedora to support Windows guests better by spending a few minutes testing the Windows Registry feature we just added to libguestfs 1.0.75. You will need: - A Windows NT/200x/XP/Vista/7/... guest - Fedora 12 or Fedora Rawhide host - libguestfs-tools >= 1.0.75 (from updates or

Adding a Registry Key to Wine
How do I add this registry key to wine: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D] "UseGLSL"="disabled" As it says to do at http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=9432? In order to get Portal 1 working. When I open HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine in regedit there is no Direct3D. I tried making a .reg file containing the line

wine can not find registry key(s)
Hello list, I am trying to get "Allplan 2005" working. But during startup it exits with an error message like "can not open registry key \\Software\foo \bar" But according to regedit the keys do exist. I have exported them under Windows XP, and saved them as plantextfile somehow, and then imported them with wine's regedit. Here is some (hopefully relevant) debug output

Registry entries
Can anyone point me at a good doc on farting about with the registry? Or do you feel like giving me the fool's guide? I have large tracts of registry entries to stuff in, and adding them via Edit/new in regedit is an absolute PITA and unworkably slow. I have files from exported from a win98 registry (via windoze regedit) with the correct info. I need to add because programs are not finding

Win2K registry not loading correctly
Hi, I've noticed that my Win2K registry just won't load correctly. In Win2K regedit nothing shows up at all - not even home registry values - and in Win98 regedit (running in my w2k configured wine) only few values show up, I believe those are my home registry values. Here's the relevant stuff from config, built with winesetup: [Drive H] "Path" = "/mnt/winnt"
