wine + fglrx + DRI causes total system lock up
Hi all, Here is a strange problem. I have recently installed the latest ATI fglrx driver (version 9.3). Everything appears to be fine, except glxgears only works for the root user. It turns out I was missing the DRI section in my xorg.conf. Once I added it I can run glxgears with no problem. But now I notice my wine games always crashes the computer (black screen with total lock up, needed to

[Patch] reenable fifos if we get an error while fifos disabled

The reason is that in drm/linux_core/nouveau_fifo.c l.342 engine->graph.create_context() returns -ENOMEM (I dont know why but I think this problems also appears with other errors). But the real problem is that then nouveau_fifo alloc() returns without reenabling fifo execution, so all fifos

[PATCH 1/2] nvif: allow userspace to use the notification interfaces
we need those so that userspace can get notified about channel resets. Required to implement GL_ARB_robustness correctly. Currently we advertise it, but we aren't able to handle gpu resets inside mesa without it.
