I installed Office 2003 in Wine without any winetricks or native DLLs. Excel works great, Word crashes a lot and can't save. What's the current best attempt to get Word 2003 to work in Wine? All, wine .49 introduced a m$office file error. .48 works correctly. The error is the file appears to be renamed and the original name is lost. Wine cannot save or create files in the directory. - Dan

This is driving me crazy. I have wine downloaded on my MAC. It's in my application folder. I have MIRC downloaded and it's also in my Application folder. But, when I turn off MIRC, and turn it back on, the whole thing wants to reload. Very annoying since that means it's not saving settings. Any ideas?

For some reason TCP/IP apps (Ultima Online, mIRC, etc.) work fine, but when I go to browse servers for Internet Games in Half Life / Counterstrike / etc.. can't get a server list, no error, just 0 servers.
