Updating samba version 4.17.5 to version 4.17.6 from Debian backports - armel architecture
I have several devices, mostly amd64 and armhf architectures, all of which updated samba to 4.17.6 without any problems. But one which is armel architecture failed to update; instead I get the following when I try to update:
root at goflex:~# samba -V
Version 4.17.5-Debian

Package crashes R under Windows Vista
Dear all,
Please, please I really need your help, since I am not able to solve the
problem myself:
It seems that until now most Windows users of my Bioconductor package
"xps" use Windows XP, but recently a user tried to use it on Windows
Vista where it crashed R immediately. Since I assume that some users may
migrate to the upcoming Windows 7 where the problem will be the same, I

xps installation error on Mac OS X 10.11
Dear Jack,
First, please do not use r-help or r-devel to ask Bioconductor-related
questions, Bioconductor has its own support site for BioC packages:
https://support.bioconductor.org/
Second, please note that ROOT_6.x cannot be used for xps.
In the README file I mention for Yosemite:

Compiler options for Makefile.win
Dear all,
For certain reasons I have to compile the source code of my package on
Windows XP using Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0, thus I had to create a
"Makefile.win". Now I have a question regarding compiler options /MT vs
/MD for Makefile.win.
The following partial output shows that when building my package on
Windows XP using "R CMD build --binary xps" with compiler

There will be no 4.18.x on bullseye or bullseye-backports.
Maybe bullseye-backports-sloppy but very unlikely too.

Van Belle Packages & Samba 4.15
Previously, I needed to downgrade Louis samba packages to Buster's
defaults, which would then be upgraded to 4.13 by the dist-upgrade to
Bullseye. This was on a Domain Member, so didn't touch my DC's or have to
worry about DB format stepping (I hope).

Dear all,
I whish to relate my installation of R-4.0.0 on Debian.
I am mainly a Windows user and occasionnaly verify the CRAN checks of my
packages on a second laptop equipped with Linux Mint Debian Edition 3
(LMDE3) based on Debian Stretch. On Friday, April 24, it took me a few
hours to have R-4.0.0 installed on Windows and the sources compiled,

System Requirements for Samba?

https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Operating_System_Requirements
I need to rebuild my system due to package corruptions and unintentionally
"upgrading" to sid from bullseye, I figured I'd take this time to do things
right. Although this is only for home personal use, everyone keeps saying
that I shouldn't run my file server on my DC so I want to build a
