[PATCH v2 0/6] Improve GK20A support, introduce GM20B, firmware paths
Second version of this patchset. Not many changes since first version - I hope this means the changes are not too controversial. Changes since v1: - Removed lookup for previous FW files in "nouveau/" - Went back to using request_firmware() since we only try to load one file Original cover letter follows: GM20B is the GPU of the upcoming Tegra X1 SoC. This series adds initial support

[PATCH 0/6] Improve GK20A and introduce GM20B support
Hello everyone, GM20B is the GPU of the upcoming Tegra X1 SoC. This series adds initial support for it, based on a rework of the already-supported GK20A. It also introduces support for NVIDIA-provided firmware files, which is why I have added a few NVIDIA people who are relevant to this discussion. The first patch adds support for loading the FECS and GPCCS firmwares from firmware files

[PATCH 4/5] gr/gf100: wait on bottom half of FE's pipeline
A naive question from someone who knows nothing of icmd or bundles... Would it be better to wait for both bits to become 0 (I.e. 0x6)? On Jun 8, 2015 11:54 AM, "Alexandre Courbot" <acourbot at nvidia.com> wrote: > When emitting the ICMD bundle, wait on the bottom half (bit 3 of the > GR_STATUS register) instead of upper half (bit 2) to make sure methods > are effectively

[PATCH v3 00/11] nouveau: add secure boot support for dGPU and Tegra
New version of the secure boot code that works with the blobs just merged into linux-firmware. Since the required Mesa patches are also merged, this set is the last piece of the puzzle to get out-of-the-box accelerated Maxwell 2. The basic code remains the same, with a few improvements with respect to how secure falcons are started. Hopefully the patchset is better split too. I have a

[PATCH v2 1/2] nvkm/clk/gf100+: Clean up PLL locking test
Corresponds with GT215. [RESEND 00/15] Rid W=1 warnings from GPU
This set is part of a larger effort attempting to clean-up W=1 kernel builds, which are currently overwhelmingly riddled with niggly little warnings. Lee Jones (15): drm/xlnx/zynqmp_disp: Use correct kerneldoc formatting in zynqmp_disp drm/xlnx/zynqmp_dp: Fix function name zynqmp_dp_link_train() -> zynqmp_dp_train() drm/vkms/vkms_composer: Fix a few different kerneldoc formatting

[RFC PATCH v2 0/5] More explicit pushbuf error handling
Hi there, Resending these now that they've had some more polish and testing, and I heard that Ben's vacation is over :-) These patches work as a starting point for more explicit error mechanisms and better robustness. At the moment, when a job hangs or faults, it seems that nouveau doesn't quite know how to handle the situation and often results in a hang. Some of these situations

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/gr/tu102: remove unused tu102_gr_load function
smatch reports drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nvkm/engine/gr/tu102.c:210:1: warning: symbol 'tu102_gr_load' was not declared. Should it be static? This function is not used so remove it. [PATCH] [RESEND] drm/nouveau: remove unused tu102_gr_load() function
From: Arnd Bergmann <arnd at arndb.de> tu102_gr_load() is completely unused and can be removed to address this warning: drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/dispnv50/disp.c:2517:1: error: no previous prototype for 'nv50_display_create' Another patch was sent in the meantime to mark the function static but that would just cause a different warning about an unused function. [PATCH v3 0/4] Suppor for various power sensors on GF100+
This is a complete rework from the first version I sent out. Now the implementation is more centered around the power_rails we find in the SENSE table instead of extdev centered. This makes the implementation a lot easier and straightforward. I've added support for the INA219, INA209 and INA3221 sensors found on multiple Fermi and Kepler cards. The power consumption is also exported via
