UPS Reboots when Pi Reboots!
Thank you Roger, I appreciate the response. I'll have to check my commands, I believe I started it with those systemctl commands you provided. What I can say is that oddly enough after completing the server config and after two more reboots a reboot of the Pi doesn't seem to be causing the UPS to reboot anymore. I have a bit more config to do on slave machines tomorrow but after that

macOS performance issues
Hi,
I?m currently setting up a samba Server on a Raspberry PI 4 with an external 8TB HDD.
Since this is rather low end hardware, I?m trying to figure out which performance optimizations are still relevant today, since a lot has chanced in the past years and quite a few options are now set by default.
The default values seem to work well for Windows but I?m having lots of issues with macOS.

Can't get CyberPower UPS to work with Raspberry Pi 4
I've searched the listserv archive, to no avail, so I hope I'm not
duplicating a previous problem. I am anxious to get this working, so I'm
open to uninstalling what I have and starting over.
One note which may not be meaningful is that this UPS pre-dates the
Raspberry Pi I've got connected to it, and I used to use it with the
CyberPower software, which requires logging in with a

Can't get CyberPower UPS to work with Raspberry Pi 4
Thanks so much for all the help! It looks like at present I've at least got
a working configuration that I need to test and fine-tune, am I
interpreting this correctly?

CELT 0.6.0 released, submitted as IETF draft
Hi everyone,
I'm pleased to announce version 0.6.0 of CELT, with many quality
improvements. This includes better stereo coupling, better handling of
transients, and better handling of highly tonal signals. In addition,
packet loss robustness has been improved through the optional use of
independent (intra) frames. CELT now supports a larger dynamic range,
suitable for encoding 24-bit audio

CyberPower on OpenIndiana
Hello,
I have a CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD and I'm trying to get nut to see it under OpenIndiana. All search online suggested that it basically can't happen, but I decided to ask again, maybe things have changed since then.
The UPS can be seen by the system:
# /usr/sbin/cfgadm -lv usb9/1.1

Cyberpower model numbers in the HCL
Anyone familiar with Cyberpower's model numbers?
I finally got sick of my Tripplite's USB port going south, all the time, so
I'm looking to replace it.
The HCL has an entry for a Cyberpower model CP1500AVRLCD. Not listed is the
CP1500PFCLCD model, a newer, premium version of the unit; but the HCL does
have an entry for the CP1000PFCLCD model.
Pretty sure that the CP1500PFCLCD

Nut on OmniOS + CP1500PFCLCD
Dear NUT users,
I have installed OmniOS+ napp-it on a HP Proliant n54l. This box is powered
by a cyberpower CP1500PFCLCD ups. I have installed nut thanks to that link:
http://wiki.openindiana.org/oi/Network+UPS+Tools+(NUT)+and+NUT+Monitor
The issue is that the driver does not load at startup - but it does if i
start it as root using upsdrvctl -u root start. Beside the startup driver

No one knows anything about this? I've seen some references to this before, but no solutions?
If there is more detailed information I can get from command line, please let me know what to run. Thanks!
