Triplite Lock's when on battery
Hey all, I have a triplite 1050 and when I did a test today I saw that the battery bounce from 100 to 80 to 90 to 91 percent before UPSD lost its connection to the UPS. The server then decided that it was time to shut off. The UPS sat at 91% for about 5 min before UPSD lost its connection, so I'm not sure if it wasn't updating its battery.charge... I wasn't sure if this is

Compile Samba without AD/ADS for a slim installation

This i s on Arch and it is an armv6 raspberry. I have some partial instructions for compiling without ad-dc and ads but keep getting a failed build. [POSSIBLE FRAUD] Re: [EXTERNAL] Re: Help with Tripp Lite Internet600U
The fix: Was following a howto here: https://raymondjdouglas.com/blog/2018/ups-monitoring/ Much thanks to David Zomaya for coming up with the recipe! Nut.conf: Just have  MODE=standalone UPS.conf [tripplite]      driver = usbhid-ups      port = auto      productid=3024      desc = "Tripp Lite Internet600U" upsd.conf  LISTEN 127.0.0.1 3493  LISTEN ::1 3493

David, I appreciate the quick feedback! If I didn't fat finger any of the parameters you sent me, it's still not working. Here's the output from the attempt to start.  (BTW - nothing appears in the daemon.log when I use the upsdrvctl command.) pi at elmer:/home/macbackup $ sudo vi /etc/nut/nut.conf pi at elmer:/home/macbackup $ sudo vi /etc/nut/ups.conf pi at

Funny - I thought of that  and had tried it.  Didn't work I also moved it from the USB2 ports to the USB3 ports. Same result. I have not heard of udev, but after quick googling and glancing at an example, /etc/udev/rules.d/99-com.rules I am not convinced that I coule come up with a formula to make a working rule. Is there a simple sample I can copy to help figure out elevated

Sorry, neglected to mention: You'll need to either reload the udev rules or reboot to make the new rule "active". NUT support for the new Tripp Lite AVR700U (USB 3024) under OpenWrt?
That It may be right (I don't know), however, where could we confirm whether 3024 is already supported for 2.8.0 or newer? And let's suppose it is. Because current OpenWrt releases are built arround 2.7.4-27, what could I try to backport that (driver mod) to 2.7.4-27? ________________________________ De: Jim Klimov <jimklimov+nut at gmail.com> Enviado: s?bado, 6 de mayo de 2023 4:21

surge protector?
I lost one channel on an FXO module on a Sangoma A200 card due to a lightening zap in the area (well - it died the same night as a major thunder storm came through).... Is there a recommended/standard surge protector for phone lines I should be using? My server has 2 POTS lines. thanks Todd
