Just got wine 2005 01 11 installed.. Trying to install diablo 2.. Problem is that whenever I run the install.exe, I get a box that pops up telling me to "Please insert the cd labeled "Install Disc"" which is the cd that I have mounted and am running the install.exe from.. I've tried copying the whole thing to my harddrive and trying it that way, but I get the same results..

Hello, I installed IE6 with both WineTools and IEs4Linux (under different user accounts). Most of the features work, but IE often hangs. Then I can only kill the process. Is it possible to run wine (wineconsole??) without X windows. I just have a simple character app that executes in a DOS window and uses printf(). I tried 0.9.30 and wineconsole doing control_alt_f1 and it BLEW I couldnt even alt_f7 to get back. I had to reboot. Should this be possible? If so how? Jerry

All, excel.exe is still broken on the latest wine 2.11 with the mscreate.dir error on excel start up. the system is win98 so dcom98.exe is loaded. Is there a work around. If so where is it documented? I have tried to install the dcom95 version but that errors. Thanks, Dan
