Windows program calling another program
I saw a discussion that looked exactly like the issue that I'm having, but turned out to be a divide by zero error instead. I apologize if this issue as already been addressed. I am trying to run an IDE called MPLAB(v7.20) under wine(v20050524). I can get the IDE up and it will successfully call another program called mpasmwin.exe which assembles the file. This mpasmwin program generates

Do I need to defile my machine, or is there a simple work-around
I am trying to install Microchip's MPLab package (a set of tools for working with PIC microcontrollers) with the latest Wine from CVS (at least, latest as of yesterday morning). I've been running Wine for a while, so I already have an existing Wine registry. I don't have a Windows install on the machine. The installer (InstallShield) unpacks, runs, and then pops up a dialog

Hi, I should install MPLAB under Suse 10.1. This software uses Install Shield as installer. I have Wine 0.9.11 and when I launch the setup.exe I get the following output: + with Wine configured as 98 / 2000 / XP Internal Failure Error Number: 0x80040707 Description: [it's empty] + with Wine configured as NT The installer just hangs. Both failures happen at the end of the "Preparing

MPLAB under wine
I have this working on one computer but not the other. Both are running Debian etch, although one is on a slightly older kernel which I can't change for many reasons. Anyway, the program is mplab and it installs perfectly, but when I try to run it the following errors are generated ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Microchip/MPLAB IDE/Core$ ./MPLAB.exe Invoking /usr/lib/wine/wine.bin

how or where to put .dll and .inf from an installerless driv
As the title suggests, i have a app that i need to install. It is a usb driver for a pic+pro pic micro programmer. The control program that came with the programmer installed fine. however, the usb driver it needs didn't install with it. The manufacturer relies on windows "add hardware" function to install the driver. Is there any way around this? The disk has two folders on it,

Windows XP and SAMBA: "file changed" popup
Following issue only occurs on a Windows XP system (it doesn't happen on Windows 7) I have Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick) server with samba 3.5.4. The server has a samba share and another PC (which has Windows XP as operating system) is connected to that share through a network drive. On the share, there are PHP files which can be changed by a developer. The files are also available by HTTP using an

[LLVMdev] llvm bugzilla broken?
Is the llvm bugzilla having issues? I have been trying to submit comments under both Snow Leopard and Lion from Safari, Firefox and Google Chrome. In all cases, the web page for the bug refreshes at reasonable rate but commiting comments time out. Often partial text is added to the bugzilla. See... http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=10543#c17 http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=10543#c18 Very

[LLVMdev] llvm bugzilla broken?
We have had some issues with commenting on bugs in bugzilla. I've attempted to determine the root problem but have been unsuccessful. We are due for an upgrade, so I'll be doing that this month and hopefully that will help this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience and I agree its annoying. -Tanya On Jul 31, 2011, at 2:04 PM, Jack Howarth wrote: > Is the llvm bugzilla having issues?

Q: Rsync, Batch: How to avoid the "password" ask ?
Hi As I want to automate my Desktop backup process, I'm currently trying to finilize a CMD (Windows XP batch) file in order to save different data (outlook.pst, \desktop, \docs, \Favorites ....). My problem is that even with this parameter SET RSYNC_PASSWORD=xxxx It still ask me for a password, blocking of course all the process automation. I'm running either on my Linux backup box

Help with averaging
Hi I am using the following script to average a set of data 0f 62 columns into 31 colums. The data consists of values of ln(0.01) or -4.60517 instead of NA's. These need to be averaged for each row (i.e 2 values being averaged). What I would I need to change for me to meet the conditions: 1. If each run of the sample has a value, the average is given 2. If only one run of the sample has a

long character string problem
Hi All I am having 2 very long character strings (550chars) and I want to put them as expressions together with c(). The problem is that I also get these double-quotes, as seen below in 'fct'. How can I remove these double-quotes? I tried as.name() but it did not work (because of size?). These are creating trouble with subsequent programs, which I tested with strings that for some
