That model isn't listed in our compatibility table:

Anyone successfully using CentOS 5 and a Keyspan USA-19HS USB-Serial Adapter?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I occasionally need to connect to a serial device and in the past have used minicom and the Keyspan USA-19HS adapter. It has worked flawlessly. Once I upgraded, I could never seem to make this work. The kernel recognizes the adapter, it gets properly assigned as /dev/ttyUSB0, and minicom seems to transmit data to it (as evidenced by the green LED

access to printers
I have a closed network (no outside access) with a small user base (less than 20), with no other network connections) running Samba 1.9.18p10 on Solaris 2.4. Problem: Some users utilize the workstations on the network as stand alone systems. They need access to printers, but I don't want to create an account just for this purpose. I would like to provide access to the printers without

Install problems (group permissions) with nut 2.7.2
I am attempting to do a from-scratch install of nut into openSUSE 13.1 so I can document the steps a customer will need to follow to make nut work with our UPS. I'm running into the problem I have always run into, which is permissions. I have created the user "ups" and the group "nut" and made ups a member of that group. I executed: ./configure --with-user=ups

Install problems (group permissions) with nut 2.7.2
Hmmm...well, let's put it this way. I'm trying to do the "right" thing in regards to permissions and access for running NUT and everything involved with it. I note in the installation instructions it says that if you're impatient and want to try starting upsd, upsmon, and drivers right now, you can use "-u root", but that you should set the correct permissions

Install problems (group permissions) with nut 2.7.2
Thank you all for the help! I followed the log messages and found where it had created the udev rule...as Charles said, in /lib/udev/rules.d. It is named 52-nut-xxxx and there is nothing else that starts with 52 in /lib/udev/rules.d or /etc/udev/rules.d. I looked at the file and saw how it was laid out...basically an ATTR for every known USB UPS. Well, since mine is not a known UPS, I had to

IMAP goes down from time to time
Good Afternoon I?m really new at this and i don?t know if i?m posting at the right place. My problem is that our Dovecot IMAP is stopping from time to time with no info in the log, i just realize about this when our support person call me saying that the whatsup monitor is showing the IMAP4 process down. I can figure about this too by trying to get in our webmail Horde and i cannot login.
