APC BACK UPS 2200 model BZ2200BI-BR (update)
Hi Charles; I tried both of your suggestions: 1) run stty -f /dev/cuaU0 raw jusbefore running solis 2) Unplug/plug, and run solis right after. The problem still persists. [~]>stty -a -f /dev/cuaU0 speed 9600 baud; 0 rows; 0 columns; lflags: icanon isig iexten echo echoe -echok echoke -echonl echoctl -echoprt -altwerase -noflsh -tostop -flusho -pendin -nokerninfo -extproc

Mario, I realize some of the variables are not yet correct, but is this better than before? I would like to merge the solis_debug branch in to the master branch. Bruno, Any ideas? Mario

Turns out another user reported the same issue with a slightly different model: https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/issues/231 <https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/issues/231> The "stty -f /dev/cuaU0 raw" trick should help, but I am confused as to why FreeBSD has different "raw" settings than what is set up at the same time as the baud rate:

Please forgive me for this terribly off-topic question but could anyone on this list point to me the proper direction on info to get the ALSA sound driver to work under FreeBSD (if that is at all possible!!)? I figured there are many kernel experts here who would an idea about this. I looked in the FreeBSD and ALSA sites and there is no mention of each other on neither. Again, sorry and

send commands from script to console
Hi, I'm working with R in windows and I wonder if there is any command (of the kind CTRL+ ) to transfer the commands I've worked with (like: > model<-glm(prevalencia~edadysexo*mes*zona,binomial)) to a script automatically, without the results I received from R after execute them. Another question, what's the combination of CTRL+ for transfer the orders in the other way, fom the

Solved: [Fwd: Matching failure in merge()]
I've found where the problem was and a way to solve this problem: One dataset was encoded (and read) as UTF-8 and the other one was encoded (en read) as latin3 In this case, even if at the terminal you see the same characters, R states that the two elements are not equal. Don't know if this is the way it has to be, or this is a bug. Anyway, editing the second file (encoded as latin3)

I'm experiencing segmentation faults from time to time that abruptely end my R sesion. In such cases, is there any way to recover the work done? (i.e., is there any temporal file that I could use?) AW: embedded pictures in vorbis comments?
Hi, I think we can start by defining an official field name at www.xiph.org/vorbis/doc/v-comment.html which is used as a file system link to an existing image file. I suggest the field name to be "PICTURE". What is ogg MNG? Is it a container format for PNG files which should be embedded in OGG files? If I understand correctly, the picture would be placed in a different logical stream

Martin, Although I did remove the ln libRlapack.so -> ./lapack.so and sudo apt-get install r-cran-robustbase went fine (as does if the installation is done through Synaptic), once I start R I get: > require(robustbase) Loading required package: robustbase Error in dyn.load(file, DLLpath = DLLpath, ...) : unable to load shared library
