oneac driver patch
I have a V96 and have access to a V92 ON series UPS.
I can tell you right off the oneac drivers don't see the family OZ with
V96 responds with. I'd be willing to help out with this driver as I
have a data center full of them plus one at home. However my C is weak.

Chloride Desk Power 650
Hello,
I own a Chloride Desk Power 650 UPS.
It works with nut 2.2.2, megatec driver (serial cable), it still haven't tried the usb connection.
It doesn't work with nut 2.0.4, because it doesn't answer to the "I" query (see megatec protocol).

directory mask = 2770
Hello everyone.
I am using Samba 2.0.7 on a RedHat 6.2 machine. I wanted to apply a
directory mask of 2770 to everything created in a share. The root
directory of this share already has these permissions. I want to have it
so that everything created in a certain directory has the permissions of
the group of the creator.
As it stands, I do have the directory mask = 2770 line in the smb.conf

R code to reproduce (while studying) Bates & Watts 1988
Hi R users,
I'm here trying to understand correlated residuals in nonlinear estimation.
I'm reading/studying the book Bates, D. M. and D. G. Watts, (1988),
/Nonlinear regression analysis and its applications/, Wiley, NY. pages
92-94, trying to reproduce the figures and to find out the code in R to
perform the necessary calculations.
I also consulted Pinheiro and Bates, but without

Adding non-data line to legend ggplot2 Maximum Contaminant Level
Hello everyone,
I have a plot showing chloride concentrations for various point over time.
I also have a dotted line that show the Secondary Maximum Contaminant Level
(my screening limit) on the graphs at 250 mg/L. But I can not figure out
how to include the dotted line / Secondary Maximum Contaminant Level in
the legend. Any thoughts? My code is as following and is linked to my

So my error was to use nls instead that gnls. Thanks a lot, Kevin.

"gold": a script to ease git based team work
Hi list !
I created a script to ease workflow on zena, a rails CMS
(http://zenadmin.org).
The workflow involves developers and reviewers (can be the same people):
1. each developer has his own fork (on github or another git server)
2. he creates a branch per feature
3. a reviewer looks at the code before ..
4. ... pushing changes to the "golden master"
All of this with automatic

I am a bit confused
I have read the shutdown.txt in the docs directory. It says that after
upsmon calls the shutdown command init takes over. This I understand
clearly. However, step 8.
8. init then runs your shutdown script. This checks for the
POWERDOWNFLAG, finds it, and tells the UPS driver(s) to power off
the load.
Since init is shuting down the system, why is the POWERDOWNFLAG needed?
Why do I

oneac driver patch
In order to get the Oneac UPS (models ON700XAU, ON1000XAU, ON1500XAU) to
work with NUT, I had to make a few minor modifications to the oneac driver.
I've attached a patch with all the modifications. I tried to ensure that my
modifications would not break any existing functionality, but I could not be
sure without a legacy Oneac UPS to test against.
In my investigation, I found out that the

js solution to sort/edit tables with ajax
What is your best solution to table display/edit/sort using ajax ?
I''ve bumped into these:
dhtmlxGrid: http://www.dhtmlx.com/docs/products/dhtmlxGrid/index.shtml
tablekit: http://www.millstream.com.au/view/code/tablekit/
Better: MIT/Ruby licence, prototype based
Do you any other tools to display/sort/edit tables in place ?
Thanks for your answers,
Gaspard

Descriptive Stats from Data Frame
I don't find how to do what I need to do in Dalgaard or 'R Cookbook', so
I'm asking here.
I have a data frame with water chemistry data and I want to start
exploring these data. There are three factors (site, date, chemical)
associated with each measurement. The data frame looks like this:

Fwd: Emerson Liebert GXT4
Hello,
we have a Emerson Liebert GXT4, that we like to connect to our servers
to shut them down if there is a power failure (which happens quite often
in our area).
I couldn't get the GXT4 working with usbhid-ups driver. So I need some
advise to continue to get this device working. The GXT3 seems to be
working ok with NUT (http://networkupstools.org/ddl/Liebert/GXT3.html).

[PATCH] irq: Exclude percpu IRQs from being fixed up
irq: Exclude percpu IRQs from being fixed up
Xen spin unlock uses spurious ipi "lock_kicker_irq" to wake up blocked vCPUs waiting on that lock. This irq should always be disabled. However, when Dom0 is shuting down, function fixup_irqs is called which unmasks all irqs. Function unmask_irq effectively re-enables lock_kicker_irq and its irq handler is invoked which reports bug and crashes

Emerson/Liebert GXT3
Hi,
I've bought a Liebert GXT3 UPS and I'm trying to use it with nut. I'm
using Ubuntu 14.04, but I'm having troubles (similar to this thread
[1]) using the standard "nut" package from the Ubuntu repositories.
After some more searching, I've found this very recent thread in this
list ("Return on experience with an Emerson/Liebert GXT3" [2]), and
