Expert to work on load issue
Jon,
We are only using FastAgi. On the second system (running Asterisk 16) there
are no agi's running (just some bash scripts on call hangup). I did add
some hackey code (netstat -nua | grep -v 'udp 0 0' | grep -v
udp6 | grep -v ' 0 0.0.0.0' | grep udp) to my bash script to check out the
packet queue (with the help of

DO you know odbc redis drivers? It would be nice to store cdrs ans other stuff
in redis without patching asterisk

Advanced Codec Negotiation: Need info and uses cases
Greetings All,
We've been working hard on new codec negotiation stuff for Asterisk 18 and
we've got some stuff to run by you. It's a lot so please read carefully.
To give you some idea of just how difficult a job this is, a simple call
from Alice to Bob currently causes 8 attempts to reconcile codecs between
them in app_dial, chan_pjsip, res_pjsip_session and res_pjsip_sdp_rtp. If

Redis in place of astdb
Hi,
Does anyone know of any projects that would allow you to use Redis in place
of AstDB? By in place of I don't mean for what Asterisk needs but to store
values. For instance for CNAM currently we need to use an AGI to connect to
redis to pull CNAM. So in place of:
Set(CALLERID(name)=${DB(CNAM/${CALLERID(num)})}
it would be done with redis for example:

of course, possibly both)

Repeated Measures/Linear Mixed Effects function
I have three columns of data, Xc, Trt and fish. This was a repeated
measures design with 6 measurements taken from each of 5 fish. Xc is the
actual measurement, Trt is the treatment, and fish is the fish number. Data
can be seen below (hopefully it is in the column format). I would like to
look for differences between treatments in a repeated measures format. I

problem with expand.model.frame

I'm encountering a problem with expand.model.frame(): Suppose that I define
the following simple function (meant
just to illustrate the problem):

How to combine data columns to a single column
Dear users,
I have several columns of data (each column containing monthly data for a
particular year from january - december) . I would wish to combine the
columns to get a Single column of continuous data as shown in (b) below. I
have read this data as table in R

Powerware Prestige EXT 1000VA / PowerWorks A30 support?
Hello,
does NUT support Powerware Prestige EXT 1000VA / PowerWorks A30 models
in smart mode? I don't see them mentioned in the compatibility list
(only Powerware 3115 and 5119 are there, listed as supported only by
the "genericups" driver). Is the protocol known to be compatible with
any other, supported UPS types?
Thanks,
Marek

Marek, did the bcmxcp driver work for you or is your UPS too old?

strange strsplit gsub problem 0 is this a bug or a string length limitation?
I was working with the rmetrics portfolioBacktesting function and dug into
the code to try to find why my formula with 113 items, i.e. A1 thru A113,
was being truncated and I only get 85 items, not 113.
Is it due to a string length limitation in R or is it a bug in the strsplit
or gsub functions, or in my string?
I'd very much appreciate any suggestions

scatterplot3d
Dear R-help,
I am having trouble with your scatterplot3d program. For help with this
problem I was directed to your address by Martin Maechler at "
r-core-bounces at r-project.org." I'm also sending a CC to "
r-core-owner at r-project.org" as I'm not yet certain of the proper address to
use for this.
I have R version 2.8.1 and have downloaded 'scatterplot3d.'
