setting up ODBC for cdr logging into MariaDB
Hello,
I am trying to set up cdr logging into MariaDB through ODBC.
I have installed unixodbc unixodbc-dev and now I am struggling with
configuring /etc/odbcinst.ini
All the examples online use non-existent libraries, ie:

CDR_TDS driver disappears - "does not provide a license key" on reload attempt
Hi All
I have an Asterisk 1.8.32.3 instance that will at random intervals stop
logging CDR data to MSSQL via FreeTDS.
On investigation I'll find that the FreeTDS module has been unloaded
somehow. It is not listed in cdr show status or show module like.
Trying
module load cdr_tds
results in
module cdr_tds does not provide a license key
and the module is not loaded.

How to detect fake CallerID? (8xx?)
Seems like this is the best idea (challenge-response), a callback. No matter the callerid, you don't know where the caller is. But if you place a call BACK to the callerid, it's going to go to the destination. Then you either need the phone to be answered, or the phone to be answered and and the challenge entered.

RODBC - problems using odbcDriverConnect without DSN
Hi,
I'm trying to use RODBC without having to set up a DSN, using hte
direct connection string in odbcDriverConnect. My connection attempt
looks something like:
> odbcDriverConnect(connection = "SERVER=localhost;DRIVER={/usr/lib/odbc/libmyodbc.so};DATABASE=myDB;UID=reader;PASSWORD=insecure;")
And this returns the message:

rodbc or unixodbc error
Hi,
I'm trying to establish a connection to a MySQL database, and am using the
rodbc package for it. This is in a GNU/Debian Linux box, with the
corresponding Debian unstable packages. I can login to my MySQL databases
from any shell and directory, so the problem is probably not there. Here's
an example of what I'm doing:

OT: Explain where mailing list bouncing comes from ?
Another "me too" (also Gmail).
I just received my 4th "account suspended, too many bounces" email,
after having several days of lost mailing list content over a short
vacation break the last time. When I notified the admin email account of
the failure, it seemed the responder missed the point about the emails,
saying the link had expired (it had been more than three days

Isn?t that the MariaDB package? I don?t really want to mix MariaDB with MySQL (even though they are probably still compatible, but diverging as time passes).

Simplest way of executing a non-blocking (async) python AGI script?
OK, I give up and come grovelling, "Fork" was suggested at 18:23, it's
now 22:20 and I have been through 4 different methods, all block with
a 2 second delay before returning to dialplan.
Here are just some of the examples I have tried, as as per the
suggestions, I am closing all possible outputs in the forked process.

Asterisk Voicemail with ODBC Realtime Access
Hi
I was trying to have realtime voicemail working with ODBC Driver.
Everything works fine with MySQL Realtime access, BUT as I want to implement
ODBC Storage as well, it seems that everything should go through ODBC ( what
I read on voip-info wiki page )
But I do not manage to make it work with ODBC.
Outside Asterisk, ODBC works fine, I can access my databases & tables !

I am new to Asterisk, so please bear with me.
I have made a success installation from source of Asterisk 14.4.0 on

extensions and dialplans, all working well.
However I am struggling to get app_jack to run.
