Wine --managed
I'm running wine, and quite oftem, I use good ol' PROGMAN.EXE as an access point to my win-apps. I launch Progman with the --managed option, but any applications I run from within Progman, are not run with this option. This is also a problem with program such as Aol Instant Messenger, when it creates its own sub windows and what not. Is there any place where I can configure how wine apps

documentation/samples/config. It is intended as a sample for how you might like to set up ~/.wine/config: ; Allow the window manager to manage created windows "Managed" = "N" Maybe that could be changed to "Managed" = "Y" in ~/.wine/config and it might do what you want. Might not, too. Remember, we're still working on Wine. Lawson

INT 3D - FLOATING POINT EMULATION - STANDALONE FWAIT Notes: the floating-point emulators in Borland and Microsoft languages and Lahey FORTRAN use this interrupt this vector is modified but not restored by Direct Access v4.0, and may be left dangling by other programs written with the same version of compiled BASIC SeeAlso: INT 3C,INT 3E That is probably about all we know about interrupt

Samba scaling
Andrew, Did anyone reply to you on this? By the sounds of things you are running a pair of E450's? We currently use Samba on about 6 or 7 Sun E450's and E250's, it scales very well. I have managed to have about 700-800 current clients connected from Windows 95 and 98, we also have the about 30-40 NT clients that connect regularly. I have found that Samba has scaled uniformly in

Hi - I posted this to the NT list but have had no responses so far... not sure if it's more appropriate here anyway - hopefully someone can give me some direction with this problem... I've been trying to set up a server to act as a roaming profiles / file server for a bunch of NT 4.0 machines and some 98 machines, and am having two issues, one I'm reasonably sure is an NT

Can't make a shadow directory
Thanks Lawson. I am trying to run a program now, but it doesn't start. I have got the next output after I did: wine --debugmsg +loaddll logic.exe: trace:loaddll:MODULE_LoadLibraryExA Loaded module 'C:\Program Files\Logic Audio Platinum 5.01\msacm32.dll' : builtin trace:loaddll:MODULE_LoadLibraryExA Loaded module 'C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\msacm.drv' : builtin

Ongoing Eudora problems and a thanks
First off, thanks to the Wine team-- the 10/4 build is the closest to working well with Eudora I have had since the one I currently run, which was 1/12/01. Second, thanks to Lawson Whitney for sending me the socket patch so I could get the 10/4 build on the net! Now, Eudora Light 3.0.5 is running much better under the 10/4 build. A few little things are still wrong. Running just "wine

new package 'nnls'
A new package 'nnls' is now available on CRAN. The package provides an R interface to the Lawson-Hanson NNLS algorithm for non-negative least squares that solves the least squares problem A x = b with the constraint x >= 0. The Lawson-Hanson NNLS algorithm was published in Lawson CL, Hanson RJ (1974). Solving Least Squares Problems. Prentice Hall, Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Lawson CL,

SWAT modification....?
Hi, I would like to suggest a modification to the SWAT web gui. I have been successfully using Samba for a few years now at my institution and it is a great product. We use it here to handle all of our file serving for around 11,000 users. We have 3 Sun E450's serving up to a 1000 clients each at any one time with no problems. That's the background, here is my request. In the SWAT gui

user/password Authentication via Joomla database
Hi, I think there is no reason to be offlist. Your setup should work, only problem could be the freebsd userid. My setup has only one user for all accounts and no "real" users. I only have a vmail user. Maybe a tutorial for dovecot and mysql only would help you ( I don't have a link here, but google has) hope that helps Harald Am 06.07.2018 um 15:18 schrieb Graham S. Tabulating Baseline Characteristics on specific observations
I have a data set with many missing observations. When I run a regression, R of course discards the observations (the whole row) that have "NA". I want to tabulate some baseline characteristics (column means) but only for the observations that R used for the regression. I tried to recreate this data frame by using na.omit on the original data frame, but this will not work as this will

Intermittent user authentication problem
We're experiencing a problem where one of our users is unable to authenticate to Samba some times (1 - 2 times/week out of 5). Typically when it happens, it's when she first attempts to access it in the morning. Regardless of how many times she tries again, she is unable to authenticate. However, if she tries later in the day, it works fine. She is the only user this has happened to.

Fwd: Re: Wavelet reconstruction
I realized that I may not have answered the question you were asking and that no one else has responded. I can across a similar problem and may have an answer to your question now. If you have both the wavelet coefficients and the scaling coefficients then create a fake sequence of the same length as the original and decompose that sequence using wd form wavethersh with the same wavelet family

Re: Use NTFS Partition. -- only applies to same disk ...
From: Mark Jarvis <mark.jarvis at pvmail.maricopa.edu> > HUH? FAT32 problem??? No, it's a geometry issue on legacy BIOS/DOS Disk Labels (Partition Table Format) aka "Basic Disc" in NT5+ (2000+) when both NT and Linux share the disk for booting. Microsoft never standardized how geometry should be handled after NT4.0 Service Pack 4 (SP4) other than using legacy LBA32 --

And route print? Do you have any servers on the WAN? (or is everyone connecting to the servers THROUGH the WAN?) Can you see the samba machines at all in network neghborhood? What happens when you type in the UNC of a samba server manually? (i.e. \\SAMBASERVERNAME) I hope I can help you, and I'm trying, but I'm not a samba guru. -Dan PS. Dialing out If the AGI application dials outward by executing Dial, control over the call returns to the dialplan and the script loses contact with the Asterisk server. The script continues to run in the background by itself and is free to clean up and do post-dial processing. If you want your application to initiate a call out without being started through the dialplan: * Asterisk auto-dial
