Event trail info help request
G'day all,
I'm always running the latest wine built locally, daily from CVS.
I'm using Xfree 4.0.2 with a microtouch touchscreen, and I'm chasing a
mouse event bug.
I write my software in Borland Delphi 4.
For testing, I have written a program that simply intercepts the application
message queue, and filters WM_MOUSEMOVE, WM_LMOUSEDOWN and WM_LMOUSEUP events,
and prints them to a

Question about Installing SJava package
Dear all,
I have an error message installing SJava package.
So I searched web site(google) and R-mailing list to find a similar error message.
But I couldn't find it.
I installed R-2.1.1 like this on Fedora Core4
1) /configure --enable-R-shlib --with-libpng --with-jpeglib
2) make -> make check -> make install
and then issuing on shell prompt (red lines are error messages)

Experiences with CentOS & MacBook Pro?
Ok,
I'm finally of a mindset to replace my now tired, aging Dell Inspiron 600m.
I'm currently running Fedora Core on it, and am fairly happy with the
software.
Has anybody used CentOS on a Macbook Pro? What gotchas are there? (The first
that comes to mind is the lack of a right mousebutton) Scouting on the
Internet, I've seen that some people have trouble getting sound to work.

Help tracing WINE funcion..
Hi all,
I need some assistance.. I'm trying to trace a problem. The quick
description is when I run the Visual FoxPro 5 development environment,
and I click in a 'edit' window (like when you bring your program up, to
edit it) the screen freezes.
when I ran wine --debugmsg +win vfp.exe, my last line of trace is:
trace:win:EVENT_Capture (0x20021)
So I saw that SetCapure() called

compiz.ini option field format?
Listmates,
Looking through the compiz.ini, I don't understand the option format.
Example:
as_run_command0 = <Alt>F2,Button0,,0,false
What are the fields? I get <Alt>F2, but what is Button0 (none?). What
are the rest of the fields?
as_run_command0 = Keys,MouseButton, ? , ? ,(true/false what?)
If you have a link, that will do as well. Thanks!

fix for oggdrop disappearing window
Hi,
I don't know if this problem has been looked at yet. The latest version of
oggdrop I found was at
http://www.vorbis.com/files/beta4/windows/oggdrop-1.0beta4.zip. If you whip
the window quickly from right to left, the client mouse coordinate in
WM_MOUSEMOVE *can* be negative and so the LOWORD and HIWORD macros will cast
the mouse coordinates to insanely high 64K-ish values. Then the

SJava help
Hi,
I installed SJava 0.66-1 on my linux RH 7.2 machine. I am using R-1.7.1.
I set LD_LIBRARY_PATH up then called library(SJava) and it was fine. But
when I called .JavaInit(), I got weird error that states it could not
find java/lang/Hashtable. The session is below and shows my java
configuration. I am using j2sdk1.4.2_01 from Sun.
Thank you very much.

Samba 2.2.5-1, Error Creating Directories
Hi!
This is a really weird problem, I hope, someone can help me out there.
First of all, I put my smb.conf on the web, you can find it here[0].
The Sambaserver (ESS-LINUX) is just an ordinary workstation (in the
terms of SMB) and uses the PDC (ESS_SERVER) for authentication (see
"password server"-directive).
Nearly everything works fine. Each authenticated user gets his

Cluster size not supported
Hi,
I'm having a similar problem, I get "The cluster size in this system is
not supported."
I get this when running wine InstMsiA.exe (using the version from
microsoft.com). It comes up in a windows message box. I'm running wine
from yesterday's cvs.
I tried running Rein's test program from this old email and I get the
following output:
