Need more meetme users -- hitting some limit
I'm trying to determine the capacity of my host running Asterisk 11.8.1 on
CentOS 6.5.
The host is an Intel E3-1240v3 with 8GB RAM, an SSD, and gigabit Ethernet.
The primary application will be bridging groups of users using meetme().
I'm using 2 boxes -- 1 to initiate calls using call files (box1), and 1
behaving a bit more like a production box -- bridging calls (box2).
The call

MeetMe -> ConfBridge: hint not working
I'm trying to migrate from MeetMe to ConfBridge:
[conferences]

exten=>_8[1-9],2,ConfBridge(${EXTEN},1Ms)

And that works.
Also changed the hints:

Want web page to listen to meetme (WebRTC?)
I have a web page to do the usual meetme admin stuff -- mute, kick, etc.
Now, the client is asking if they can listen to the meetme -- click and
audio comes out the computer speakers.
How can this be implemented? Is this a use case for WebRTC?

How to get meetme participants in dialplan?
The meetmeadmin() dialplan function lets you specify a user to mute,
un-mute or kick. But how do you get a list of users in your dialplan?
When a user joins a conference, the user number assigned is "the last user
number +1." If you have a long running conference with callers joining and
leaving all the time, this can grow to be a large number.
I want to be able to

Confbridge GUI?
I have a very old server that is used only for conferences on
Meetme. To manage the conference rooms we use Web Meetme. Now it is
time to upgrade everything but since Meetme is no longer available I
need to find a replacement GUI to manage the conference rooms. Anyone
know a solution that works with Confbridge? I found "Asterisk
Confbridge Manager" from a russian company but it

confbridge not working?
Hi guys,
I'm trying to move away from meetme to loose the dependency on dahdi.
ConfBridge seems to be a good fit but I can't get it going. The document
sounds like an easy to use app. Am I missing any bridge_ modules?

Asterisk (meetme) and SMP/HT OK?
In the past, there have been reports of problems with Asterisk with
multiple processors and/or HyperThreading.
I'm having a !@#$ of a problem with an HPDL380 with 2 3.4gHz Xeon
processors, 2 gb RAM -- if I got 24 hours I'd think I had died and gone to
heaven :)
Am I missing something obvious like "Asterisk is single CPU, single core?"
I can't access the ILO so I

Confbridge options
Hi,
I'm doing an evaluation of Confbridge (migrating from Meetme). Looking
at: https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/ConfBridge+10
Under the heading "User Profile Configuration Options" the option
announce_only_user is present. The sample config looks like this:

confbridge - play different sounds to caller and bridge at same time?
When a caller enters the confbridge, I want to play a sound file ('ring')
for the caller and a different sound file ('type of caller') to the bridge
(all participants or just the admin?) at the same time.
It's OK if the bridge hears the 'ring,' but the caller should not hear the
'type of caller.'
Any clues?

ConfBridge no audio problem
We're encountering no audio issues in ConfBridge.
Only the moderator and the 1st invited have audio.
When the 2nd invited number picks up the phone, only the announcement is
heard, then followed by silence.
This occurs frequently. Only 1 out of 5 test calls do not have this problem.
We were hoping that switching from MeetMe to ConfBridge will solve the no
audio issue, since there's no

How to mute DTMF in meetme?
This is weird.
If I have 2 members call into meetme using zap PRI channels on the box,
they can here each other's keypresses.
If I have 2 members call into a separate box using the same PRI's and then
forward (dial(iax/...)) them to the previous box into the same meetme,
they only hear a minor "squelch" for each other's keypresses.
How can I completely mute a

The new ConfBridge application is now in Asterisk Trunk!
Howdy,
I am proud to announce that after a good bit of development, community feedback, testing, and code review, the brand new ConfBridge application has been officially merged into Asterisk Trunk!!! http://svnview.digium.com/svn/asterisk?view=revision&revision=314598
If you are already familiar with ConfBridge from Asterisk 1.6.X and 1.8, forget everything you know. This is a completely

ConfBridge and AGI
Hello List,
Is it possible to run an AGI script in backgroung for all the associated SIP channels in ConfBridge Application? If yes how?
This can be done using 'b' parameter in MeetMe for non SIP channels.

confbridge manager/cli
I've just started switching my project to use confbridge instead of
meetme and app_conference (because of audio glitches that kept appearing
in those applications).
However, I can't find any way to interact with an existing confbridge
conference. Surely there's some equivalent to meetme's 'meetme list'
command? Anything else I can use through the cli or manager API? I

how can I reduce delays in meetme with zap channels
My boss is complaining that the delay between speaking and hearing in a
meetme conference is noticeable and doesn't want to roll out our system
until I can eliminate the delay.
Personally, I don't think the delay is significant, but I don't sign his
check.
The system consist of 3 1u's, each with a single quad t1 card. Each card
has 2 t1's running NFAS.
