We're concerned about adequately covering the spaces, though, one of which is very long and narrow. I wanted to get external add-on microphones for the IP3000, but I've found that unlike some of their other conference products, it does not have this

asterisk setup for church / conference call / speaker system integration
We have several people in our church that recently became disabled. I am
thinking of setting up an asterisk server and several phone lined so
that they can call in to church during services to listen to the service.
The phone lines at church are also used by our private school during the
week. So I am thinking that I need to setup a schedule so that the
lines used for the service will

[LLVMdev] Suggestions for LLVM Developer's Conference 2012
Some other suggestions:
1. It is time for the conference to go to a 2-day format next year, and perhaps have fewer parallel sessions. What was a "meeting" has become a true conference -- several hundred attendees, lots of different kinds of talks, etc. (I have to admit -- it's heartwarming to see the community has grown to this scale!) The costs will be a little higher for the

R2D2 VOIP Kubuntu 8.4 Ekiga, Ekiga.net voice conference
I'm having a problem getting a good clear output sidnal from Ekiga to a
VOIP conference call using the Ekiga.net free conference call system.
I'm told that each time I speak, my voice is clear & intelligible for
about .5 - 2 seconds, but then it starts to be garbled, sounding like
the sounds R2D2 makes.
I've used 2 or three mic/headsets - two plug into my audio I/O sockets

[LLVMdev] Suggestions for LLVM Developer's Conference 2012
Hi John,
While this is a good idea, wouldn't it logistically take longer to get the
microphone to the person involved than for the presenter to repeat the
question?
Cheers,
James
