BlindXfer Sensitivity
The strange thing is its only sometimes my dial string is as follows
exten => s,1, Dial (SIP/200,, tT)
For that particular route but obviously s,3 as have Ringing () first etc.
After she pushes ## 6 times it will go thru sometimes.

blindxfer & atxfer not working?
I'm wondering whether there's a problem with the blindxfer and atxfer commands.
I was using Asterisk STABLE and pressing the # key to transfer calls
worked fine, except of course when you called up FedEx and they asked
"Enter the number of packages, followed by the Pound key".
I found on the wiki
(http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk+config+features.conf)

Have you enabled DTMF logging and seen the DTMF codes being recognised by
Asterisk? I had a bunch of soft phones that I had to change to using ?sip
info? for the DTMF signalling as the RFC signalling was not always being
recognised. This would cause transfers to appear as if the user had not
dialled any digits.

even worse after another upgrade to 2.2.8!
I haven't had any luck printing to printer attached to my FreeBSD machine
using samba (local printing works fine) after upgrading to 2.2.7a and using
XP. I could see my shared home directory from both XP and 2K and can still
see my home dir from the w2k machine. Now, when I try to map to my home dir
from XP, the printer status window appears (this time without the "access

Hello & a query to relieve some confusion about samba
Hi
I am new today here and have a couple of confusing items I hope someone
here o the list can straighten out for me.
1. The definitions of the served usershares apprears in more than one
location; in ubutu 12.04 LTS there appears to be a set of defined shares
in the /etc/samba/smb.conf file near the bottom, the second location
appears to be located in the file structure at

Modify Contact in PJsip
Do you know if this can be achieved with the standard sip stack in asterisk?

Call Return
Hi Guys
I am trying to write a macro for a call return so for example
Anyone in the company transfers a call to another extension and it is not
answered etc it must return to the person who did the transfer
I have got it working but if the call originates externally for example
someone calls in to the switchboard and they transfer it then it tries to
return to the outside caller.

One way audio internal
Hi All
We have a strange issue with our hosted asterisk server running on Debian
Internal calls btween extensions using g729 give one way audio
As soon as we change the codec to ALAW the issues goes away.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Outbound calls via a trunk work fine with g729
Kind Regards

Navbar for documentation is broken in Doxygen 1.8.18
Hi,
Here is a patch to update documentation to Doxygen 1.8.18 as the navbar is broken trying to use the latest Doxygen.
Also seems we are missing documentation for last releases here:

DTMF Blips at end of Record() - 1.8.18
Hi,
I've noticed on asterisk 1.8.18 I'm hearing the blip of '#' DTMF to end the
recording on the recording itself.
Is there an easy way to truncate the last 200ms of the recording or so to
eliminate this?
The DTMF is coming in through rfc2833 and not inband.
Thanks.
