tinc 1.1 never seems to accept UDP packets from 1.0.24 hosts
Hallo,
I have a couple of tinc hosts in the same network, some using the latest
tinc 1.1 git and some using 1.0.24.
It seems like traffic between 1.1 and 1.0 nodes is always transfered
using TCP (and an intermediate node, if not directly connected), never
with UDP.
Viewed from host W (tinc 1.1):

OpenSSH 7.6p1 ssh-agent exiting if passed an invalid key blob
Hello,
I noticed a problem recently when running some test code against the OpenSSH 7.6p1 ssh-agent. These tests ran fine against OpenSSH 7.5p1 and earlier, but with OpenSSH 7.6p1, they were suddenly causing ssh-agent to exit. The request being made was a ?sign? request, and the point of the test was to have the sign operation fail. To trigger this, I was passing in an invalid key blob

routing with 2 public ips
I still do not understand something.
The thread started with:
i have a server with 2 public ips on 2 devices.
I want that the request of incoming traffic dont use the default
gateway. Incoming traffic sould be answered using the gateway of the
incoming device
Could i realize this with firewalld? Or directly iptables?

SSH Agent Forwarding Not Working
Hi,
I know this might be the most asked question, so I've done anything
possible to troubleshoot the problem myself, but still, my SSH Agent
Forwarding is not working for me.
The best troubleshooting guide that I found, and also the one I've
been using, is the ssh forwarding guide on github -
https://help.github.com/articles/using-ssh-agent-forwarding
I've checked all things there,

conntrack entries established before nat
Typically (or at least somewhat occasionally) after a reboot of my
shorewall[-lite] machine I find that I end up with conntrack table
entries for unNATted connections such as:
# conntrack -L -p udp --dport 5060 -d 99.232.11.14
udp 17 59 src=10.75.22.8 dst=99.232.11.14 sport=5060 dport=5060 packets=5472 bytes=3031488 [UNREPLIED] src=99.232.11.14 dst=10.75.22.8 sport=5060 dport=5060 packets=0

udev by-id symlinks randomly missing for tape drives on centos5
Hello!
I'm having problems with udev /dev/tape/by-id/ symlinks..
it seems symlinks to tape drives are sometimes (randomly) missing after reboot.
Server in question has IBM TS3200 tape library connected with 2 drives in
it.. so /proc/scsi/scsi shows 3 devices: 2 tape drives, and 1 medium changer (tape library).
So I should have 3 symlinks in /dev/tape/by-id/ directory.. 2 symlinks to tape

OpenSSH public key authentication does not work from Windows client if private key was added to SSH agent
Hey guys,
I installed OpenSSH 7.9p1 on Windows Server 2016 and generated a SSH key pair with ssh-keygen on my Windows 10 Client (OpenSSH 7.6p1). I can connect to the server with "ssh user at domain@servername -i id_rsa". But as soon as I add the private key to the SSH agent by "ssh-add id_rsa" this does not work anymore and aborts with the message "Permission denied

Am I missing somthing?
Should the following setup work?
SIP UA---NAT---Internet---NAT---SIP UA
If both UA's support STUN and report the external IP address in the SIP
packet..
I am trying to get away from using canreinvite=no so that traffic can go
directly between the UA's and not via the central server but I can't
seem to get it to work..
Has anyone set this up and can give me some pointers??

Hey Damien,
thank you for your reply. I posted the debug information at https://pastebin.com/40esNPED and replaced some sensitive information before (usernames, servernames, domainnames, IP addresses). In addition I commented some lines with a message like "### <my message> ###".

deprecated options in sshd_config
Hello,
First, my apologies:
It's -practically- sure this ML is not the good place to, but I don't
find better for now.
I jumped from an OS to an other since few days. On the new one,
openssh comes in a much newer version (good thing): 7.6p1
sshd lets me know that there are two depreciated options:
- KeyRegenerationInterval
- UsePrivilegeSeparation
I search for a place where I can find

RFE to extend "LISTEN" directive to support host-colon-port (as single token)
Thanks for sharing your take on this. (Sorry about likely mixing historic
standards, was not in position to cross-check while posting)
Just to clarify: using a different port *is* possible since forever, with
`LISTEN host port` (as two arguments to the directive); the question was if
having a way to spell it as one argument as `LISTEN host:port` would solve
some shortcomings/ease adoption more
