Changing temp Dir: /var/tmp
Hi, LLVM will look for the following environment variables to be set, and if not it will use /var/tmp: TMPDIR, TMP, TEMP, TEMPDIR You should be able to override its behaviour by setting one of those. Cheers, James On Thu, 24 Mar 2016 at 11:21 Ramakrishna Mallireddy via llvm-dev < llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> wrote: > What are the various option we have in setting tmp dir. > >

[LLVMdev] sys::path::system_temp_directory vs. sys::fs::createTemporaryFile
Hi, all. I noticed recently that llvm::sys::fs::createTemporaryFile does not use llvm::sys::path::system_temp_directory, instead relying on its platform-specific helper TempFile. Is there any reason for this disparity? The two implementations are not in sync, either: - TempDir honors TMPDIR, TMP, TEMP, TEMPDIR, and a configuration-settable P_tmpdir on Unix-y systems. system_temp_directory just

Ogg: correspondence between playtime and file offset
Hi, I have modified fenice(streaming server) and mplayer(media client) code to support for ogg container(vorbis+theora). Now I have to implement forward and rewind of an ogg(vorbis+theora)file by time. So I would like to do file seek to start reading the file from that position. Eg:- mplayer will send +10 secs to forward request to fenice through RTSP and fenice should read and send packets from

Issues with TMPDIR/TEMP/TMP? Failure of R CMD check under Windows 7
Dear helpeRs, on my Windows 7 laptop, I have problems getting R CMD check to work. I believe it did work completely before, but I am not sure. Yesterday it almost worked, except for the tests: These were aborted because of a complaint that the temporary directory wasn't available. I played with windows environment variables for the temporary directory, but that didn't solve it.

C:\users\[me]\Temp\file.tmp cannot be opened
I have been trying to install Nobeltec4, an oldish windows chart navigation system, and the installer keeps stopping with the message, "the file C:\users\bill\Temp\GLF8e4.tmp could not be opened..." and suggests I check for permissions and space, etc. I have seen the documentation on that and I really do have permissions and plenty of space. I go and browse the C drive under wine (v

$TMP and $TEMP problems from w2k
I've got a really funky error happening when installing new programs. I'm running a CVS version, taken about a week before 2.2.4 came out, built into a .deb package (speaking of which, is the package maintaner on the list? I've been waiting for the 2.2.4 package to come out...). Anyhow, my 'home' directory on my w2k station is mapped to my home directory on our file

Hello, We are using dovecot (2.2.10) and it's working great! When I enable chrooting by appending /./ to the homedirs I'm getting errors like this: mail1 dovecot[47074]: imap(user): Error: Temp file creation to /tmp/dovecot.imap.mail1.70079. failed: No such file or directory On the surface everything seems to be working fine and I have not been able to produce the error myself. The errors don't seem to appear for every imap connect as can be seen from the number of deliveries and successful logins. So what makes dovecot fail sometimes to create the /tmp/dovecot.imap? Sweave resource leak: leftover temp files (PR#7999)
This is great. Thank you for your help, but let me make sure I fully understand. Here is the looping file I use to subset the data frame, create a tex file, and Sweave it. This results in N number of tex files where N is equal to the number of rows in the data frame. list <- unique(wide$stuid) master = "master.tex" for (i in list){ tmp1 <- subset(wide, stuid==i) tmp2

Sweave resource leak: leftover temp files (PR#7998)
Harold, I've taken a closer look at your example and I'd call this an Sweave bug. It creates tempfiles each time you run it, and doesn't delete them at the end. For example: > list.files(tempdir()) character(0) > testfile <- system.file("Sweave", "Sweave-test-1.Rnw", package = "utils") > Sweave(testfile, out="junk.tex")

Fonts generated and read form temp dir
Hi, I'm one of the user of this app (http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iVersionId=4154&mode=nested#Comment-13738). Users noticed that the soft generates (or extracts) fonts and uses them on the fly from a temp directory. Is there any way for wine to handle this type of behaviour ? Thanks. Dripple.

light.exe : error LGHT0001 : Invalid IDT file: 'some temp dir\codepage.idt'
Hello, additional keywords: MSI Component I am trying to use WiX on updated Fedora Core 8 using wine-1.0-1.fc8 rpm. Using both latest stable (2.0.5805) and beta version (3.0.2925) of WiX I receive error message regarding `codepage.idt'. I attach a testcase with log. I hope I am poking at the right place. It seems that some have successfully ran WiX under Wine so I just hope it is a simple
