Hmm, I'm not having much success in replicating the build environment
for this - however, I did notice two patches in the ubuntu xen-api
package that look relevant. The build failure appears to be related to
xenguest, and there is a patch 'xenguest-4.2.patch' which looks worth a
test. Also, I noticed another patch 'fix-xen-4.2-paths.patch' that might
be relevant. Thomas,

Migration issue because of openvswitch...
Hello,
Currently, react (19 days old), xmlm (17 days) and xen-api (11 days) are
stuck in unstable. One reason is the following: xen-api depends on xmlm
and they must go together, and xen-api depends on (a new binary package
of) openvswitch, which FTBFS (and has been for > 32 days).
Is there anyone working on fixing openvswitch? Or can the dependency in
xen-api be dropped, and reintroduced

The package fails to build in a test rebuild on at least amd64 with

severity of this report may be raised before the jessie release.
The test rebuild was done together with GCC-4.8, so some issues

Building XCP Debian packages: what sources or repo to use?
Hi,
I have started the work of packaging Openstack for Debian. I have
already the Nova packages ready for upload, and I''m now working on
Glance and Swift.
Nova can run Xen, but I have been told that it needs XCP. I was
wondering what is the best source for me to download and package. I have
noticed that I can take:

Moving XenAPI python modules in a separate binary
Hi Mike and Jon,
If I do this:
dpkg -S /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/XenAPI.py
then I can see that the XenAPI python package is in fact xcp-xapi. This
is quite annoying, because I will need it when building OpenStack nova,
but xcp-xapi depends on the Xen hypervisor, which I don't care about
when building Openstack. Said in another way: I'd like to avoid having
to put
