microdowell BP-100
I'd like to share some of my experience with this UPS. I've compiled nut from the Debian sid sources. Version is 2.2.1. I'm using the powerpanel driver. It seems shutdown.return does in fact what shutdown.return should do. I'll just copy&paste some of my notes made yesterday: Commands were issued as follows: "upscmd -u admin -p admin bbox at localhost

NUT ups issue
Hi Drew, I no longer work on NUT, but the folks at the nut-upsuser mailing list are extremely helpful. See http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/nut-upsuser The 2.0.3 release is *way* out of date; the current stable NUT release is 2.2.0. It contains many improvements, particularly to the newhidups driver (which is now called usbhid-ups). If your distribution does not package a current

Unable to disable beeper on Powercom Imperial IMP-525AP [SOLVED]
Hi Arnaud, I received several replies from technical support. It turned out that according to the UPS serial number it had been manufactured in 2012. So, the device should support the ability to disable the beeper. But still I can not disable the beeper using the latest version of UPSMON Plus in Windows: http://www.pcm.ru/data/download/public/soft/setup_upsmon_v2.9.rar (don't know why; the

Hello all, Rebooted my server by mistake (don't ask...) - everything was working OK before the reboot, but after the reboot, NUT stopped working - so had a look and I found I couldn't track the exact problem - I'm quite stumped as there's nothing indicating that there's a problem, but it just doesn't work... In a nutshell.... destiny:/usr/local/ups/bin# ./upsdrvctl

First, I compiled and installe nut 2.0.2 (with usb support) and psp 3.0. I made ebuild for them that I will submit soon to bugs.gentoo.org. The ups is connected via usb, and lsusb confirms that the device is detected (cf end of the mail for
